Child abuse both physical and sexual has been increasing all over the world. I think this is mainly because parents with young children are isolated and are finding it hard to cope on their own.
Political and media hype has resulted in doctors and other agencies involved in the care of children ignoring or not trained to recognise early signs. This often result is prolonged agony and may result in tragic consequence.
When these neglected children grow -up and decide to go on a rampage killing innocent people, the leaders and media use the opportunity to promote themselves and criticise the offender.
I have personally experienced the difficulties of defending my ethical duty and know how difficult this can be to stand alone and defend the care of a helpless children. I have published this slide presentation to teach every responsible adult to help protect the life of innocent children.
Let us stop breeding monsters and create a world filled with joy and laughter of happy children.

Exploring different theories of childhood – from the foundational theories of behaviorism and socialization; to later developments like the social learning and interactionist perspectives; and finally to recent innovative theories & perspectives like interpretive reproduction, the ecological approach, and structural and critical perspectives.
In each, we examine the social scientists and theorists behind the theory, its focus (either micro or macro, or the connections between them), its key thoughts about children, and some of the assumptions that underpin the theory.
Person centered care models with reference to dementia care, has demonstrated positive outcomes for behavioral disturbance. This presentation will increase awareness and understanding about person-centered care for people with dementia. Discussion includes complex needs of people with dementia, leading to compromised behavioral symptoms; including non-pharmacological approaches, sleep-wake-cycle disturbance, verbal outbursts and aggression. Further discussion encompasses evidence based outcomes with the use of person centered care that focuses on preserving the "personhood" of the individual.

CILIP Conference - Promoting digital literacy and digital well-being for chil...CILIP
The Internet and social media today provide huge opportunities: access to communities and networks, online information and learning, business and entertainment. However online connected technologies can also present challenges for children and young people and other vulnerable groups who may not have the critical digital literacies and life skills to recognise risk, or the resilience to manage online stresses and challenges.
This presentation highlights some of the themes to address when developing the digital literacies and digital well-being of children and young people, and those who work with or support them.

Unit III Research Proposal
Follow the directions below for the completion of the Research Proposal assignment for Unit III. If you have questions, please email your professor for assistance.
Purpose: The purpose of the research proposal is to help you to understand your project, to gain direction and feedback on your project, and to establish a blueprint for your project.
Description: In this assignment, you will create a research proposal consisting of three sections:
Section 1: What is the topic? (100-150 words)
Section 2: What is the controversy? Include paragraphs that detail both sides of the controversy. (300-400 words)
Section 3: Your tentative thesis statement (one to two sentences)
Click here to access the research proposal example.
My tentative argumentative thesis statement is, social media access should be limited or prevented for young children. Giving internet access freely to young children without adult supervision/consent can put themselves and family at risk of internet stalkers, child predators, cyber bullying, and identity theft. As stated, “Parental monitoring of children’s media influences children’s sleeping habits, school routine, social and aggressive behaviors, and that these impacts are reconciled through the amount of time spent watching and contact with media violence. Parental monitoring of media has defensive impact on a wide variety of academic, social, and physical child habits.” Doing my research, I learned that a lot of parents give internet access freely to their child and don’t think about the effects it will have on their developmental skills and health.

Excessive computer use is keep able of affecting children's social growth. At the age of around seven years, the interaction of a child with family, school, friends, community and media all play a central role in the growth of interpersonal skills and social competence of the child. Computers are now part of that stage of development and alarms have been sounded that children who have too much access to computers create electronic friendships and might be mired in building interpersonal skills. To reduce the high risk of obesity, and other harmful effects of prolonged media exposure, the American Academy of Pediatrics has always advised parents to reduce the time spent children spend on video games, computers and other media to not more than one to two hours a day, and to encourage them to explore different activities like sports, cycling or imaginative play.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.
