Safe management measures
1. Safe Management Measures@TP (SafeMM)
For the well-being of yourself and other students, we seek your cooperation in observing
the below SafeMM to help TP maintain a Safe Campus.
Coming to Campus
1. Do not come to campus if:
[“Unwell”: Difficulty breathing, Cough, Fever, Loss of taste/smell, Sore throat, Diarrhoea,
Body ache, Runny nose. Symptom checker here, https://sgcovidcheck.gov.sg]
1.1 You are unwell. You must not come on campus for the entire duration of the MC
even if the COVID-19 test is negative.
1.2 You received a Health Risk Warning (HRW) from MOH. You will be placed on LOA
until your ENTRY (FIRST) PCR test is negative. However, if you received a Health
Risk Alert (HRA) from MOH, you can return to campus if you have a negative PCR
or ART result and are well. Please seek immediate medical treatment if the self-
test result is positive and do not return to campus until you receive a negative
confirmatory PCR test result.
1.3 Household member who received a HRW from MOH – Students will placed on
LOA until the affected household member’ FIRST PCR test is negative. However,
if you household member is issued with HRA, you are encouraged to monitor
your health and no further action is required.
1.4 Persons living in the same house as you who are age 6 and above (“Household”)
are unwell. You will be issued with a LOA and must not come to campus until the
report of a negative PCR/ART test for the household member, or the end of MC
for the household member, whichever is earlier. If the household member is
NOT on MC, the LOA will be capped at 5 days.
1.5 Household members (all ages) are serving their Quarantine Order (QO).
1.6 Household member serving QO at Government Quarantine Facility (GFQ) –
Student may return to campus following the first negative swab test (of the
household member serving QO) regardless of whether the test was taken before
or after the household member was admitted to the GQF AND both the student
and household member are well.
1.7 Household member serving QO at Student’s place of residence –You may return
to campus following your household member’s first negative PCR test result and
both the student and household member are well. However, students who are
sharing the same household as the person under quarantine are required to
adhere to MOH’s testing requirements to perform the required ARTs as
instructed by MOH. The result of the ART tests must be reported to your
programme officer at TSA.
1.8 Staff and students who returned to Singapore from higher risk countries/regions
which require them to serve SHN will be issued with LOA for the duration of the
SHN.
2. 1.9 Students and staff who have household member serving SHN at home will be
issued with LOA for the duration of the household member’s SHN. The LOA will
be rescinded once the household member serving SHN has a negative PCR result.
1.10 You or any of your household members have been notified by MOH to take
a swab test. You must not come on campus until the swab test result is negative
and you are well.
1.11 You miss your Rostered Routine Test6 (RRT), Enhanced RRT or Fast and Easy
Testing (FET).
1.12 You have been issued with a Leave of Absence (LOA).
1.13 You have received a message from MOH that encourages you to go for a
swab test. You should proceed for the swab test as advised.
2. Staff or student who are unwell should see a doctor immediately, especially if they are
unwell with Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI). They must inform their doctor that they are
from an education institution.
3. Access to TP:
Drivers: East and West Gates (No entry for passenger drop-off/pick-up).
Passenger Drop-off/Pick-up & cyclist: Main Foyer.
Pedestrians: East Gate, Overhead Bridge and Main Foyer. Pedestrians may exit the campus
through Main Foyer, East Gate, West Gate, and the Overhead Bridge.
Students requiring special educational needs support assistance: Contact Student Support &
Career Services (SSCS) at 6780 5959.

5. When you arrive at campus, ensure the following:
6.1 You are required to activate TraceTogetheror have in possession your TraceTogether
token while on campus.
6.2 You are required to check-in SafeEntry with the TraceTogether App or the TraceTogether
Token and keep the TraceTogether App running while on campus.
6.3 Show your Student ID to the staff on duty.
6. Observe Safe Distancing at all times.
7. Attempt to arrive on-campus no more than 30 minutes before the scheduled activity time.
On Campus
1. All staff and students must wear masks on campus at all times, except when eating or
drinking. When teaching, staff should wear surgical masks or reusable masks of equivalent
effectiveness. Face shieldscan be used as a substitute for mask wear, only for individuals
who have medical reasons that require the use of face shields or for staff when interacting
with students with hearing impairment. For staff who have to wear face shields for medical
reasons or when interacting with students with hearing impairment, they must remain in a
fixed position and maintain at least 2 metres distance from any other persons.
2. Comply with the instructions of Safe Distancing Ambassadors. Be respectful of them at all
times as they are trying to ensure that everyone remains safe.
3. Clean your laboratory/workshop equipment and workspace before leaving the
laboratory/workshop.
4. Open benches and tables in the campus may be used e.g. to wait for next on-campus lesson,
for HBL if student is unable to arrive in time for on-campus lesson, or go home in time for
HBL. Safe Distancing must be observed. Facemasks must be worn at all times.
Consumption of food is not permitted at open benches and tables. Consumption of drinks is
permitted. Wear your facemasks immediately after drinking.
6. Group Discussions
6.1 Students may initiate group discussions in Groups of 2 (GO2)if the 1-metre safe
distancing between persons is not possible. Separate GO2 groups by at least 1-
metre. The best practice of 2-metre separation between GO2 groups is preferred.
4. 6.2 Wear facemasks.
6.3 Eating is not permitted. Consumption of drinks is permitted. Wear facemasks
immediately after drinking.
6.5 Intermingling is not permitted i.e. cross from one GO2 group to another during
the activity.
7. Meals (Only at Canteens, F&B Outlets)
7.1 Dine-in is only allowed at canteens, F&B outlets:
For vaccinated persons and in groups of NOT more than 2 - FLAVOURS, SUBWAY
(inside), TopTable, SugarLoaf and Bistro Lab
For all but in groups of NOT more than 2 - Short Circuit, Designer Pad, Biz Park,
Blackboard, Garden Fiesta (GF) and Canopy
7.2 Meals must be consumed only when seated and please sit only at unmarked
seats only. Please do not move or join tables. Minimise talking while eating.
7.3 Do not eat and/or drink while walking.
7.4 Facemask may be removed only when eating or drinking. Facemasks must be
worn immediately after eating even when you are still seated at the Canteen or
F&B outlet.
7.5 SafeEntry is required at each F&B Outlet.
Leaving Campus
1. Leave campus as soon as you can after class.
2. You are encouraged to Checkout with SafeEntry.
Additional Notes
1. You are to declare your travel outside of Singapore (via the link below) when you become
aware of it. “Cruise to Nowhere" departing from Singapore does not constitute “Travel":

2.1. Been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, in the last 14 days.
2.2. On medical leave (doctor issued MC) for COVID-19 symptoms described above.

2.5. On Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or Leave of Absence (LOA).
2.6. Persons staying in your household have the COVID-19 symptoms described above.
2.7. Persons staying in your household are serving their Quarantine Order (QO) at your place
of residence
2.8. Persons staying in your household are serving their SHN at your place of residence.
2.9 Persons who have received Health Risk Warning or Health Risk Alert from MOH.
