Eligibility Criteria:
• Full-Time (namely Diploma or PFP) Singapore Citizen students subsidized under Tuition Grant
scheme.
• Gross Household Income (GHI) ≤ $4,000 or Per Capita Income (PCI) of ≤ $1,000.
Income to be verified through application of government bursaries. Students applying for BYOD
Financial Assistance Schemes (BYOD FAS) are required to apply for government bursaries first.
• BYOD FAS can only be applied once in your entire studies in TP.

Reimbursement scheme Co-payment scheme
Submit application online with receipt. Can
buy laptop from anywhere.

Co-payment amount is $196.26 or $496.93,
depending on the diploma.

What is the difference between the 2 schemes?
• Both schemes offer the same level of subsidy. Students are encouraged to apply under Scheme
1. The benefits of Scheme 1 includes:
• Flexibility of laptop models
• Get laptop faster
In what situation should students consider applying for Scheme 2?
• If your students are unable to fork out the full sum of the laptop, they may apply under
Scheme 2 since it is a co-payment scheme.
