Lin: Quest is a software package developed by Lin: Quest Initiative that provides marketers with data on rural India sorted into five parameters: demographic, agricultural, income, literacy, and civic amenities. The software allows marketers to assign weights to factors like literacy levels, male-female ratios, bank deposits, income levels, and accessibility to roads, rails, water, dispensaries, and schools to generate a list of rural places that meet their criteria. ArcView is GIS software that allows users to visualize, manage, analyze and interact with geographic data to understand spatial relationships and identify patterns. It supports over 70 data formats and tools for discovery, communication and sharing of geographic information.
