1. RULES of MY Classroom
1. Pay attention to your teacher! Do not talk while I am talking or while
anyone else is.
2.Bring your materials to class, including homework and a positive
attitude
3.Be here when the bell rings and take attendance
4.Bathroom use is first and last 5 minutes of class only
Please do not interrupt me when I am teaching you
5. Ask for help, email me, check the wiki-Be responsible and motivated to
learn
2. Grades
There are four different categories of grades.
I. Tests/Quizzes 15%
II.Homework/Wiki Responses 35%
III.Class Participation-you break any of the rules or do
not bring your materials to class, you will receive a 0
for that day 15%
IV.Essays/Projects/Portfolios 35%
*You will have a mid-term and a final exam in this
class
3. gmail
Everyone must have a gmail account
We will use google drive, docs, gmail, presentations,
essays, projects for everything in this class

You can email me/text me anytime you need help
with my class
My phone is set-up to knock anytime I receive an email. I will
respond to you as soon as I can! It is as good as texting or calling
me!
4. pvlawiki.wikispaces.com
1. Go to the wiki website
2. In the upper right corner click Join
3. Create a username that includes either your first name or your last
name
4. Create a password
5. Use your gmail address
6. You are NOT making a wiki-click no
7. Click join
8. A page will appear that says Request Membership-type your name in
the box
9. Click Request Membership
10. You are done, I will then need to approve you and then you will be
on the wiki!
