3.  The allusion of Adam and Eve and eating the
forbidden fruit in Progress Report 7 (p. 16)
represents Charlie’s gaining of knowledge
through unnatural ways. Just as Adam and Eve
gained knowledge of the world unnaturally by
eating the fruit God forbid them to eat, Charlie
gained his unnaturally through surgery. Adam
and Eve were deemed sinners by God and
punished out of the Garden of Eden
