Front Desk: I typically work evenings and weekends which means I am the only one on duty. I am in
charge of the entire building. There is a lot of responsibility involved with this position. If a problem arises
it is my duty to fix it which means I must be quick on my feet in order to adapt to the ever changing
circumstances and situations. Most days entail arranging reservations, offering referrals for services
(restaurants, shopping, ect), troubleshooting day-to-day problems, and working as part of the hotel team.

Housekeeping: This was a unique combination of individual work combining for a group effort. Each room
was cleaned independently but all housekeepers worked together to complete the work in the most
effective manner so that no one was left to fend for himself/herself. Time taken to clean each room was
calculated to monitor efficiency. Additionally, each room went through a thorough inspection upon
completion.
