Joseph Ward, Progressive Insurance, Corporate Real Estate - Senior Transaction Manager.
Contact Joe: 440.603.7476, Joseph_D_Ward@Progressive.com
As National Real Estate Asset Manager, KeyCorp, Joe managed Denise directly at KeyCorp.
“During Denise's tenure in my organization, she was faced with the difficult task of managing real
estate transactional projects completed by a team of Trammell Crow outsourced brokers in the
Eastern and Western United States. At that time, outsourcing of real estate services was a relatively
new concept and created a challenging environment for all. Denise responded to the challenge by
establishing expectations and holding those responsible accountable for their related tasks.
She managed the critical lease dates well and ensured that her real estate portfolios were
secured. Denise was a loyal and dedicated team player who was willing to go above and
beyond her job requirements to ensure the success of the department. She is an outstanding
public speaker and always carries herself in a professional manner.” January 21, 2009

“As fellow students, I have had the pleasure of having Denise in two of my Health Information
Management classes at Cuyahoga Community College and I have been very impressed with her
organizational and professional skills. In our Quality Assessment and Improvement class Denise
and I were members of the same performance improvement team. As our team scribe, Denise went
above and beyond her duties putting together a professional, well thought out PowerPoint
presentation for our team, as well as a reference binder for the HIM Program Preceptor and
future HIM classes. She is extremely flexible, a very strong team player and provides an
exceptional professional background to anything she works on. It was a pleasure to have her
as part of my team, and I feel that she will succeed in any position she pursues upon
graduation.”

“Denise is a personal friend of mine. I had the pleasure of working with her in 2009 and 2010
when she called and asked for my help with our Class Reunion. I was amazed at the large number
of alumnae who consistently came forward, volunteered and worked with her to pull it together. At
every planning meeting we had close to 20 people in attendance. All meetings were well
organized and run very professionally.Yet we still had ample opportunity to enjoy each other
andreminisce. One of her goals was to reach everyone in our class, and we narrowly missed the
mark. Denise knew well and contacted the alumnae she could count on when she needed the
extras, and we responded positively. Everyone was willing to help in the ways that they were able.
I can't say enough good things about the way Denise handled this significant responsibility,
and I know everyone involved felt the same way. Our reunion was a total success with

Mater, Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School.”
