Singh Engineering Works is one of the leading manufacturers & exporters of ERW Tube

Singh Engineering Works was established in 1982 at New Delhi (India) to cater to the needs
of high precision ERW Tube Mills & ancillary machineries.
Having expertise and hands on experience of nearly thirty seven years in the industry we
have grown to have a considerable set up and in addition engaged various ancillary units working

Tube Mill mainly consists of various units namely strip preparation, pipe forming, welding,
cooling, sizing straightening, pipe cut-off unit and pipe run out unit. The power transmission is done
by worm / bevel gear boxes which drives the whole machine.

4. HR / CR Slitting Line
After centralizing the HR/CR coil with the uncoiler mandrel the coil is mounted on the uncoiler.
Then the mandrel is expanded and the snubber roll rotates the coil. Peeler breaks the straps and
brings the pre-end upto the Pinch roll. The Pinch roll drives the coil end upto the slitter and then its
drive is disconnected. Slitter moves the slitted strips further. Slitted strips are threaded through loop
table and drag tensioner into the recoiler drum. Recoiler winds one turn on loose coil.
Then drag tensioner and loop are put into operation. Slitter and recoiler run simultaneously in
synchronization. As the coil build up, the recoiler rpm correspondingly goes down to keep desired
constant line speed. This process goes on until the end of coil on uncoiler. The slitted coil is pushed
on the exit coil car trolley through a pusher plate operated by hydraulic cylinder.

The Tube Bend Testing Machine is fitted with 6 sets of 8D rolls driven by a reduction gear box and
fitted on a steel fabricated structure. The gear box is driven by a motor with a dual starter.
