Helical Springs by Cold Winding Process. The Range
includes from Tiny Springs of 0.15 mm diameter to
Heavy Spring up to 12.00 mm diameter.
• We are Technically Qualified People and are in line
for more than Four decades. We not only make
the springs but also give Technical Guidance for
Spring Application. We have In-house Spring
Design Software to overcome Existing Design
Problem if any.
• The organization is certified by M/s. BUREAU
VERITAS CERTIFICATION for I.S.O. 9001-2008 for

1} COMPRESSION SPRINGS
• The Compression Springs are Simplest Form of Helical
Springs. These are used for storing energy.
• Avoid Compression springs with Open Ends because
they may get entangled with each other.
• The spring Index Ratio should be preferably between 6
to 14. Over 16 may require especially Large Tolerances
and under 4 cannot always be coiled on Automatic
Coilers.
• Buckling of Compression springs often occurs when the
Free Length is more than Ten times the mean diameter.
• It is not necessary to specify the Winding Direction
unless it is important.
• Design the spring with a safe stress when Compressed
to Solid length to avoid Permanent set.
• While ordering the springs atleast four parameters are
required i.e. Wire diameter, Mean diameter, Active coils
or Pitch and Free length.

2}TENSIONSPRINGS(EXTENSION SPRINGS)
• These are Close Coiled springs and Extended under
a Pulling Force. The Spring Design formulae are
same as that of compression springs but Initial
Tension and Safe Design of Hooks are important.
• The spring hooks are having different shapes as
shown in the picture. The Position of hooks is also
important in assembly. It is advisable to avoid
special hooks whenever possible, because they are
Expensive, take a longer time to make.
• There springs are always have some Initial tension.
Electroplating or painting is to be avoided in tension
springs due to closed winding and inner side not
properly exposed in such processes.

• Torsion Springs are Helical Springs with Arm which are
used for Rotary Force.
• The Arm Length and Shape vary depending upon the
Application.
• The Winding Direction of these springs is to be specified.
• These springs are usually Loose wound. The closed
wound springs will not give proper load reading.
• The Arms should be as Straight as possible. The bending
radius should be as large as practically allowable.

• The wire forms are plenty in design and shape.
They are used for connecting two parts or for
locking a sliding part.
• These are made out of the special design of each
and every customer's requirement.
• These items are made by special bending fixtures
and or by a special purpose machines.

• Considering the functional requirement, we
manufacture various spring assemblies consisting
of springs and other parts such as Spring Guides,
Rods, Press Components, Locking Devices etc.
• These are basically springs but are assembled
with various components which are designed by
the customers depending upon their functional
requirement.

LIST OF RAW MATERIALS
Hard drawn Spring Steel Wires of Grade SM, SH & DH as per IS : 4454-2001 & EN 10270-1.
We use broadly the following Raw Materials :
Phosphor Bronze Wires as per IS : 1385 – 1968.
Alloy Steel wires mainly 2D wire of grade VDSiCr/FDSiCr/TDSiCr as per IS 4454 part II & EN 10270-2.
Stainless Steel Wires as per IS 4454 part IV and EN 10270-3.

We keep the Ready Stock of most of the Wires bought from Reputed Wire Manufacturers such as
M/s. Usha Martin Limited,
M/s. Tata Steel Limited,
M/s. Bekaert Mukand Wire Industries,
M/s. Raajratna Metal Industries,
M/s. Aarti Wires Ltd. etc. In India.
We also Import Stainless Steel Wires from M/s. Sandvik – Sweden and
High Carbon Wires from M/s. Roslau – Germany through their local agents.
