Generators transform heat into electricity directly by using linear alternators. Design breakthroughs have resulted in an extremely reliable, long-life, maintenance-free, and quiet, electricity generating platform. The FPSE generators, when heated at their absorber, can literally transform any flow of heat into a steady output of electricity. These same generators are packaged into PowerGen’s energy products, these make use of multiple types of fuels to generate grid-quality electric power.

Buildings that produce a surplus of energy over the year are called “Energy Surplus Buildings”
During the last 20 years more than 200 reputable projects claiming net zero energy balance have been realized all over the world.
NZEB buildings consequently contribute less overall greenhouse gas to the atmosphere than similar non-ZNE buildings. They do at times consume non-renewable energy and produce greenhouse gases, but at other times reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas production elsewhere by the same amount. Traditional buildings consume 40% of the total fossil fuel energy in all over the world and are significant contributors of greenhouse gases.

Hecu Sistema is the CAREL solution for commercial refrigeration, designed for high energy efficiency condensing units that use either traditional HFC refrigerants or natural refrigerants such as CO2.
The system’s distinctive features include the use of DC inverter technology and real-time synchronisation with the refrigeration units. Hecu sistema meets the requirements of the latest environmental sustainability standards relating to energy consumption (Eco-design directive) and the use of low GWP refrigerants (F-Gas regulation). Stable control means high-quality food preservation and a drastic reduction in waste.
Hecu sistema is also compatible with all CAREL supervisors, which can monitor each individual system or groups of systems, and offer dashboards to simplify interpretation and analysis of system operation.

Study: The Future of VR, AR and Self-Driving CarsLinkedIn
We asked LinkedIn members worldwide about their levels of interest in the latest wave of technology: whether they’re using wearables, and whether they intend to buy self-driving cars and VR headsets as they become available. We asked them too about their attitudes to technology and to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the devices that they use. The answers were fascinating – and in many cases, surprising.
This SlideShare explores the full results of this study, including detailed market-by-market breakdowns of intention levels for each technology – and how attitudes change with age, location and seniority level. If you’re marketing a tech brand – or planning to use VR and wearables to reach a professional audience – then these are insights you won’t want to miss.
Intelligent buildings are buildings that through their physical design and IT installations are responsive, flexible and adaptive to changing needs from its users and the organizations that inhabit the building during its life time.
