The Rapid Literacy Assessment (RLA) is intended to determine the word attack and decoding skills of 4th to 12th grade learners in English and Filipino. It consists of a pre-test to assess skills and inform interventions, and a post-test to measure progress over the school year. The materials were developed through a rigorous process including content development, quality control, pilot testing and refinement. Schools will administer the assessments, analyze results to guide reading programs, and report findings to division and regional offices.
