Mr. Brussich has 42 years experience, comprised of 39 years of construction site based
electrical design, and over three years of piping/mechanical and structural drafting. His
responsibilities have included electrical design group management, design and preparation
of electrical construction packages for both new and retrofit projects at petrochemical, gas
pipeline, nuclear and fossil fuel power stations, and pharmaceutical plants. Areas of design
include PLC and instrumentation wiring, power distribution and control systems design,
grounding, underground duct systems, cable tray, system interconnections and other
various design aspects. In addition to design, Mr. Brussich has been responsible for
material control, checking of design packages and served as electrical design lead.
Drawings have been prepared using the latest and earlier ACAD versions and manual
drafting means.
Representative assignments include:
 Electrical Designer at Dow Chemical Co. (former Rohm & Haas), Deer Park Chemical
Plant. Responsible for development and production of electrical construction packages
for various capital and plant maintanence projects. Projects included Sub-Station 5kV
and 480V Distribution Upgrades, Pole-line distribution system as-builts, Cooling Tower
replacements, PLC upgrades, Building HVAC system replacements and various pump
replacements. Preparation of construction package electrical scopes, bills of materials
and construction drawings. Also provided support for construction.
 Electrical Design Group Lead.
Led and assisted in the development of an electrical design group tasked to produce
electrical design/construction packages for Gas Pipeline Compressor Station projects.
Responsible for training junior designers and drafters, checking electrical drawings for
accuracy and compliance to company standards and Electrical codes, coordination
between client and other disciplines. Assisted in developing company procedures for
electrical design procedures. Other duties included field surveys of existing Florida Gas
Pipeline compressor stations for system control upgrades.
 Electrical Designer/Checker. Responsible for design and development of electrical
drawings for construction packages, material take-off and bill of material preparation,
and checking of electrical drawings prior to issue. Areas of design included plans and
details for plant power distribution, (13.8kV and above, 600V, and instrument 24 VDC),
via underground duct bank, above ground cable tray, conduit, and pole-line systems.
Plant areas were comprised of sub-station, process, motor control, and storage areas.
In addition drawings for control system wiring, grounding, lighting, and electrical
manholes were prepared. Projects required on-site surveys for gathering of information

Corp., Houston, Texas. Responsible for design and development of electrical
construction packages for the conversion of existing pneumatically controlled
Cooper-Bessemer and Ingersoll-Rand, 16 and 12 cylinder engine driven compressors,
to an Opto 22/Mystic PLC system. Performed on-site inspections of pipeline
compressor stations for development of as-built and system upgrade drawings.
 Electrical Lead Designer responsible for design, drawings, material take-off and
procurement, and construction over-seeing for the installation of a plant wide
Honeywell 2000 Deltanet security and fire alarm system at the Merck, Sharpe, and
Dohme Arecibo Plant, Barcelonetta, Puerto Rico. Plant facilities included 52 structures
comprised of process, office, warehouse, and miscellaneous support buildings. Other
projects include: 1980/81 Aprenocid Facility, MK-302 and CO-76 Caustic Line project,
1983 Est.81-876, Primaxin Mk-787/791 project, and 1990 Arecibo Expansion Project.
