PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Principal E/I Designer with over twenty five years of instrument, electrical and process controls design
engineering experience. Functioned as lead designer, checker, CAD draftsman. Delivered hundreds of
construction packages in the oil & gas, petrochemical and brewery industries. Capable of doing any and
all documentation required for the design and construction of any size project. Proficient at maintaining
the budget and finishing a job ahead of schedule issuing all the required deliverables with very little
support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Worked on projects involving 5KV power down to 4-20ma.
Use industry codes, standards and regulations like NEC, ISA, NFPA, API, IEEE.
Familiar with the document management systems BP Documentum and EDMS.
Proficient with process control systems design and operation of PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA systems.

Worked in Prudhoe Bay since 1986 which requires OSHA Hazwhoper training and NSTC certification.

instrumentation and electrical equipment, developing BOM, create data sheets, review vendor submittals,
coordinate with material supplier, track equipment, progress tracking, attend review meetings, assist with
construction, start-up and FCO.
Used AutoCADD for 15 years at both NANA Worley Parsons and Alaska Anvil.

schematics, heat trace iso’s and plans, instrument location plans, power and grounding plans, panel
layouts, junction box details, block diagrams, fire & gas connection diagrams and plans, instrument and
electrical standards and installation details, conduit/cable schedules, ladder logic diagrams, one line
diagrams, I/O list, sequence of events chart and shutdown matrix.
