studies Engineer in Engineering Services Department for the following projects:
1. WEST DAMITTA POWER STATION, Damitta, Egypt.
Kharafi national company, In cooperation with Client Arab Republic of Egypt to build
sample electrical substation to can generate electrical power 500MVA. The project
consists of four Gas Turbine each one have 130MW, 15 KV and 4 step up Transformer
(125 MVA, 15220 KV) and two 220 KV GIS motor startup .The task concerned with
designing of electrical works and preparing material take off (MTO), electrical
calculation and M.V&L.V protective relay coordination manually and by ETAP power
station software and review the suppliers specs meeting the consultant specs.
2. Sylibia and Ardaiy waste water plant

public works to make extension of the waste water plant .The task concerned with
designing of electrical works and preparing electrical specification and calculation and

With Elgammal industrial projects (GIP) Company as an Electrical Design
&Technical studies Engineer at Engineering Department for the following
projects:
1. Tourah Cement -EPAP II Project for line 8, Cairo, Egypt.
Elgammal industrial projects, in cooperation with Client Italcement Company and
World Bank to Conversion Electro Static filters to Bag House filters to removing
suspended particulates in the air and improvement the ambient. The project consists of
four huge bag filters (cooler bag filter, bypass bag filter, raw mill A and raw mill B)
each one have 1MW motor startup by 1.25 MW variable speed drive 12 pulse and this
drives fed from 3 winding transformers and the filter have small motors as screw
conveyor motors, rotary air valve motors, dampers and all instruments as speed
sensors, vibration sensors, thermocouple,……etc. The task concerned with designing
of process electrical works including modification of the existing medium voltage
switch gear (6.3 KV) and makes excitation for new cells to fed new VSD transformers
and MCCs, sizing of the medium voltage and low voltage cables. designing of 6.3KV
cables and 0.5KV cables infrastructural networks, motor control centers, distribution
boards, power feeders, distributed control system, automation and instrumentation
system including modification and programming of PLC,… etc with the supporting
technical calculations like 1- VSD and distribution transformer sizing calculation. 2-

6.3KV, sizing of new distribution transformers, re adjustment of the existing protection
relay by ETAP 7 to protect new transformers , sizing of the medium voltage and low
voltage cables, designing of instrumentation cables to transfer signals from transformer
and compressor to central control room (CCR) ., etc
3. Water substation Feeding, 5MW, Suez, Egypt.

feeding Water substation. The project consists of four pumps 1MW and our scope

Cairo, Egypt.
Design documents for Contractor Gas Chill to enable bidding for design and build
Contract. The task concerned with designing 22KV and 3.3KV switchgear, power
transformers, distribution boards, power cables, lighting, fire alarm, security, earthing
and lightning protection system. Moreover, preparing technical calculations like 1-
transformer sizing calculations, 2- load flow and voltage drop calculations, 3- short
circuit calculations, 4- Chiller motor starting analysis, 5- Earthing and lightning

and designing of HV switchgear, power transformers, MV soft starters panels,
distribution boards, power cables, LV motor control centers, lighting, small power, fire
alarm, security, earthing and lightning protection system.
4. Bahrain Bay Utilities District Cooling Plant, 45MW, Bahrain.
The task concerned with designing process and building services of electrical works
from EPC contract. The project is design and built with Contractor UNICORP
including cost estimate and shop drawings.
5. Bin Smikh Hotel (51 floors):
The task concerned with designing of Design Medium Voltage Network According to
Kahrmaa code and Design 3 distribution Substation in First Basement Floor & 27th
