I have over 35 years experience in instrumentation which includes a positions as instrument coordinator, senior
designer/designer, inspector and instrument tech.
As instrument coordinator, Developed estimates, involved in front end loading of new projects, developed instrument
specifications for bidding and purchase, was involved in design of P&ID's for drafting, assigned designers and CAD
personnel to projects, followed the design process and checked completed packages. Coordinated I/E efforts between
engineering and the clients and between clients and construction.
As senior designer/designer, Created or was part of a design team that created complete design packages
for large scale and smaller construction and/or maintenance projects, checked construction packages,
did field surveys to verify existing drawings and gather information for new projects, provided on site
engineering support and coordination to construction which includes instrument/equipment
installation, inspection, loop check, red lining of drawings including P&ID’s to “as built” status and
start- up assistance.
As instrument tech, worked new construction as well as maintenance, did functional loop checkout,
calibration and/or wiring of various instruments, switches and valves and trouble shooting.
