Employment Summary
Over 25 years’ experience in document management, mainly within the petrochemical refining
and energy sector, and most recently in the civil service.
My main strengths are establishing and operating Electronic Document Management Systems
(EDMS) to ensure successful management of engineering, vendor and subcontractors’
documents. I have developed several different types of document control systems for various
projects from concept to operation. In doing so I have gained experience in every phase of project
development, including; proposal preparation, contracts, execution and handover of project
information/documentation to Clients.
I have experience as a leader of document control groups and a focal point for document control
on FEED and EPC projects.
EDMS and Computer Systems/Applications experience: Enterprise Bridge, Web DMS, Pro Doc,
DMRS and Docs Vault. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The EDMS I have used and all Document Control work processes and procedures I have written
