Responsibilities and Accomplishments:
- Conceptualising and implementing an opportunity tracking tool to capture, review and rank issues and
opportunities based on their criticality and resource allocation during all phases of the operating
lifecycle. This involved working closely with the Production Engineering team to build a single and
standardised register across various areas of the organisation.
- Review and improvement of the management of change process for projects. This involves reviewing
the current plant change procedure and developing a companywide system to accommodate all change
modifications at Todd Energy.
- Project focal for first annual turnaround of newly built production facility MET2. This involved
participating in concept selection and driving project to completion in collaboration with the engineering
consultants and contactors.
- Third party contract support for Operations with metering, pipeline and easement management which
gave me a good understanding of AS/NZS2885 and its requirements.
- Development and review of operating procedures to improve and update changes and to ensure plant
operation happens in a safe manner.
- Operations support for incident investigations including being focal point for Control systems by co-
ordinating with the contractors to complete maintenance related control system changes for a short
period.
- Undertaking a study involving the optimisation of Export Gas Propane compressors by carrying out a
vibration study and remediation to improve efficiency and hence more gas throughput across the plant.
- Project management for the upgrade of current water treatment plant for a more effective system that
will provide potable drinking water to Drinking Water Standards New Zealand 2008 requirements.
- Attended and participated in monthly HSE meetings and carried out audits on the permit to work
