CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
I was the owner of a successful travelling concession business selling a variety of fast food items at various
events throughout the state of Texas. I found that good relationships with customers, ethical relationships
with event organizers and my friendly outgoing personality were essential to the success of this business.
During my 28 year employment with a glass manufacturer in WV, I held various positions including:
Shipping and Receiving, Lathe Operator, and Glass Production. I dealt with both internal and external
customers while working at this job. I believe that treating everyone to deal with daily with a professional
and ethical manner leads to an excellent work environment. When working in the shipping and receiving
department I found that relationships with trucking companies and outside vendors lead to effective
movement of inventory.
My career began as a customer service representative for the State of West Virginia in the Alcohol Sales
Department. Key to my success in this position was product knowledge and a positive attitude.
