2. Responsible for Production, Quality and Process control related activities of cement plant. Also
looking after material handling, Quality Management System, Cost reduction, Quality
improvement and new product development.
 Made all-time record of highest ever production & dispatches in year 2010 and 2011 and set
several such records pertaining to usage factors and efficiency parameters.
 Handled challenges and brought up kiln up to its optimum output level with best quality clinker
mainly through Raw Mix and coal mix optimization and close monitoring.
 Improved throughput of raw and cement mills, through bringing improvement in particle size,
with production of best quality cement, thereby reduced electrical energy consumption by 18%.
 Contributed in substantial improvement in overall quality with achievement of product quality
index as 100% with quality ranking in cluster in no. 1.
 Increased ever highest FLYASH absorption in PPC by 32 %( Highest in Holcim fraternity) and
by improving reactivity of fly ash and won several awards.
 Awarded for reduction of coal cost for kiln and CPP by 16%, in this market wherein cost of
fuels are increasing drastically, by proper coal selection and reducing thermal energy
consumption by 10%.
