While Quality Technician for Bradford I held a vast number of responsibilities. Some of
those include record keeping, material analytical testing, and inventory control to name
a few. Bradford is a GMP facility and therefore taught me the fundamentals of lean
manufacturing. I was responsible for cutting down changeover times by constructing
new work instructions for the actual changeovers’ themselves. I was also responsible
for product quality at the line. I operated and maintained analytical instrumentation and
prepared lab reports summarizing findings. I willingly solved problems with supervisors,
operators and maintenance to overcome any obstacles we might face. As a member of
the quality team I took pride in the job I did and felt I made a difference. I got to work
2. with an array of equipment including analytical balances, weight-checkers and scales. I
performed moisture determination with the use of a Karl Fischer titration device. I also
performed solution preparations for the actual testing of the product itself.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform statistical sampling quality checks as bars were produced, while meeting
customer requirements.
Comparison of fragrances and colorants on an FTIR spectrophotometer
Review and release of packaging materials including cartons, cellophane’s and
shipper boxes.
Auditing and review of produced material and batching records.
Frequently communicate with supervisors, production operators and
maintenance to ensure a quality product.
Review colorants with an Ultra Violet Visible Spectrophotometer to ensure
accurate wavelength and absorption.
Chemistry testing of produced soap on a daily basis including moisture
determination, free fatty acid content, active ingredient content and obtaining PH
results.
Auditing and calibration of many scales including large floor scales, production
scales and analytical balances.
Approval and release of all raw materials entering the facility.
Use of a variety of laboratory equipment including graduated cylinders, beakers,
flasks, pipettes, burettes, hot-plates and stir stations.
Inventory and use of many chemicals in the lab including Methanol, Comp 5,
SDA 30, Chloroform, Benzethonium Chloride, Methylene Blue, Sodium
Hydroxide, Sodium Laurel Sulfate, Potassium Bromide, Phenolphthalein, Sodium
Sulfate Anhydrous, and Buffer solutions used for PH meter calibration.

3. As Hot Inspector for Net Forge I was responsible for the visual, dimensional and
functional quality of Constant Velocity Joints produced. If any forgings did not meet
specification I would then initiate the stop, call and wait procedure. I was responsible for
keeping accurate Quality Records in accordance with ISO 9001 certification. I also
maintained accurate labeling and inventory of raw materials and forgings. I am familiar
with many quality instruments including both metric and standard scales, calipers and
micrometers. Also I am experienced with Brinell and Rockwell hardness testers, and
other various instruments including Optical Comparators. I am comfortable working in
extremely hot environments and also I am fluent with computers and many different
software programs.

4. I was employed with the Hanover group for a short period of time to take on the
immense task of rehabbing manufactured homes in Candlelight Village, located in
Columbus Indiana. However, the company filed for bankruptcy and I was unfortunately
out of a job. As a Rehab Tech I was responsible for doing complete walk-throughs on
vacant homes. It was my duty to record any damage or discrepancies with the home. I
was also responsible for repairing any damage to the home meanwhile keeping the
company's finances in mind.

I was employed with NTN driveshaft for a lengthy period of time and gained a great
amount of experience in the manufacturing industry. For almost an entire year I worked
a seven day work week on second shift. I decided to pursue other career routes.
My job as a press operator was to meet production requirements as well as maintain a
high level of quality. I am knowledgeable in operating hydraulic presses ranging in size.
I have operated small bearing presses, all the way up to six-hundred ton presses for
larger applications. I have also operated compacting presses for powdered metal
applications. I am knowledgeable with quality control standards as well as safety
regulations in the workplace. I am a skilled fork lift operator and have experience on

techniques that I would use everyday while operating the hydraulic presses.
