The Contributions Of William Clark And Camp River Dubois
In December 1803 William Clark established Camp River Dubois at the confluence of the
Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, north of St. Louis. While there he recruited and trained men,
while Lewis spent time in St. Louis, conferring with traders about the Upper Missouri regions
and obtaining maps made by earlier explorers. On May 14, 1804 William Clark and the Corps of
Discovery left Camp River Dubois, and were joined by Meriwether Lewis in St. Charles,
Missouri. The party numbered over 45, and included 27 young, unmarried soldiers, a French Indian
interpreter, and Clark s Black slave York. An additional group of men, engagГ©s, would travel only
to the Mandan country for the first winter, and these included six soldiers and several French
boatmen.

Analysis Of Dennis Reynolds s The Show It s Always...
Dennis Reynolds, of the show It s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is a narcissistic man in his
early thirties. Raised by stepfather Frank Reynolds, a successful business man with unethical
methods, and mother Barbara Reynolds, a selfish woman who only married Frank for his wealth.
Dennis and his twin sister Dee were raised wealthy but were often misguidedly taught to not seek
affection through materials. For example, every Christmas Frank would buy gifts for his children
only to destroy it while the children watched. Dennis attended the University of Pennsylvania to
become a veterinarian while minoring in Psychology. He often tries to use his Psychology minor
to his advantage, an example being his attempt to psychoanalyze his friends whilst berating the
actual psychiatrist and mocking her for attending a subpar university. His academic studies were
unable to translate into a career, however he is co owner of the bar, Paddy s Pub in Philadelphia.
Dennis along with his sister Dee, father Frank, and two friends Macand Charlie, use the bar as a
hangout spot often concocting schemes and shenanigans. Though the bar makes very little money,
Dennis maintains his lavish lifestyle with his father s money often wearing high end clothing,
driving a Land Rover, and getting into sticky situations while placing little care on the financial
ramifications. Dennis is vain, narcissistic and has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality
Disorder. He cares very little for others unless it is

Essay On The Toltec Empire
The Toltec Empire
During 750 AD in Central Mexico, The Toltec Empire emerged continuing the Mesoamerican
heritage. Their culture was inspired by the empire before them, the Olmec s. They were believed to
be the people who migrated after the collapse of Teotihuacan. The significance of their existence is
because it serves as the foundation of the Mesoamerican Civilization s culture.
The Toltec people were founded after the collapse of the city Teotihuacan. They spoke Nahuatl
which is the same language as the Aztecs. They were a militaristic aristocracy, but there is little
knowledge about the conquests that they have done because most of their artifacts were destroyed
after the collapse of their empire. These people valued skilled warfare and craftsmanship which is
what the Toltec s are mainly known for. They were believed to... Show more content on

They had a 260 day calendar with 52 year. The Toltec people were influenced by the Olmec culture
which is where their ideas mostly came from. The creation of this calendar has helped influence the
creation of the other calendars for the empires to distinguish days.
The Toltec Empire consisted mainly refugees from the northern Teotihuacan. The culture and
traditions migrated with them. After they formed their central city Tula, they thrived until their
collapse. The empire was spread across most of Mexico, Guatemala, and also south of the Yucatan
Peninsula. The Aztecs then came after them and destroyed most of their ruins to use as building
materials. All that is left of them is the legends that has been passed down from generation to
generations.
Religion was very important to the Toltec people. They were polytheistic and believed in human
sacrifice. They played a ball game where the loser would become the human sacrifice to the gods.
This sport was important to their culture and religions, and human sacrifice was also practiced by

Antidepressants During Pregnancy Research Paper
Abstract
With the increase of depression among many women, the risk for neonatal deficiencies may be
linked to medications used during pregnancy. It is speculated that there are a multitude of health
risks to the fetus if an expecting mother is prescribed antidepressants for Major Depressive
Disorders. It is also hypothesized that there may be long term effects to the child after birth if the
mother of the child was taking antidepressants during her pregnancy. Postnatal psychological
effects may be due to the onset of the drugs during pregnancy, and there may be a link between a
child s physical and psychological state once born, due to the drugs, but is not correlated to women
that have used antidepressants before pregnancy. Results identify that there are many negative
effects of antidepressants use during pregnancy.

Depression during pregnancy impacts the emotional well being between a mother and child,
resulting in a lost connection between the two. It has been suggested that a lesser maternal
attachment can be correlated with depression. Women lacking emotion in their relationships often
suffer from depression (Haedt, A., Keel, P., 2007). The deficit of an interpersonal maternal
relationship can be linked back to the mother s onset of depression during pregnancy. Symptoms of
depression are known psychological factors that may contribute to higher rates of negative birth
outcomes in women (Giurgescu, C., Engeland, C. G., Templin, T. N. ,2015). This lack of emotion
between a mother and her child can have ultimately negative effects on the child s attachment and
emotional well being. Just as women with postpartum depression, it is difficult for women with
depression during pregnancy to feel close to their offspring, which could lead to emotional or

Recommendations For Prevention And Mitigation
Recommendations for Prevention/Mitigation
Many ports do not have cyber response plans contained within broader risk plans (Kramek). All of
the ports studied by Kramek had a dedicated security officer and a dedicated IT staff, but the
security officers focus usually remained on traditional physical security threats, and IT was a
separate and distinct department from security (Kramek). Kramek states, cyber security threats
were not part of the security officer s response portfolio . Most security officers thought that their
IT staff would notify them in some form or fashion if a cyber incident threatened port operations
(Kramek). However, when during the response this notification to the security officers would be
made is unclear given the lack of written response plans (Kramek). Ports need their IT department
to be continually communicating with their security department. This would keep all the staff in
the loop on current difficulties and security impairments and allow staff to find a cyber incident
before it becomes too bad. Ports need to make sure that they have thorough written response plans
in the case of a cyber security incident and that all IT and security staff that will be involved are
ready to execute the plan if needed. These plans need to take into account that many industrial
control systems are dependent, like many systems at ports and marine terminals, and run off
computer networks (Sain). As stated by Bethann Rooney, manager of security for the Port

Maturity In Tom Sawyer
Throughout multiple exciting adventures and dangerous explorations in the novel The Adventures
of Tom Sawyer , we see Tom Sawyer mature. He matures through the love of Aunt Polly, Becky,
Huck and other characters in the novel. In his search for treasure, Tom learns about personal
accountability. Even in everyday life, we watch him develop from a boyinto an adult. From a selfish
young, mischievous lad, Tom becomes a sincere, kind and responsible young man.
Before we continue, we should discuss what maturity is. According to Wikipedia, the definition of
maturity is a psychological term used to indicate that a person responds to the circumstances or
environment in an appropriate and adaptive manner. This response is generally learned rather than
instinctual, and is not determined by one s age. Maturity also encompasses awareness of the correct
time and place to behave, knowing when to act with appropriate emotion for the situation. Maturity
incorporates personal accountability, meaning you take ownership of situations you are involved
in. By following one s conscience, you are taking personal accountability.
During the adventures of Huck and Tom s treasure hunting, the two came across the antagonist,
Injun Joe. Earlier, Huck and Tom witnessed Injun Joe murder a doctor and put the blame on an
innocent man. The two juvenile boys had made a vow that neither of them would tell anyone since
they were scared that Injun Joe would come after them. This shows fear that most people would
experience in this situation. Knowing that an innocent man will be punished for an act he did not
commit, Tom s conscience convinced him to testify against Injun Joe, freeing a guiltless man.
Critics... view incidents such as Tom s encounters with Injun Joe...as confrontations between
innocence and evil which initiate Tom into the world of adult responsibilities and consequences.
Near the beginning of the book, Tom falls in love with a beautiful young girl, Becky. The
relationship that Tom and Becky shared is very childish and immature. When Tom mentions his
past girlfriend, Becky gets super emotional and upset because she thinks Tom is still in love with
her. Tom also claims that he will marry Betty even though

Example Of A Volunteer Paper Example
I have volunteered and worked with children throughout my highschool career. It started with
volunteering for a few weeks at the Vero Beach Museum of Art at their children s art camps. I
enjoyed working with the children and helping them with different art projects. My favorite
group was the princess themed class. There was lots of glitter, tiaras and pink. I loved
connecting with the children and being a role model to them. I also volunteered at Vero Beach
Elementary as a reading mentor for a semester. I was paired up with a young boy who I met with
once a week for about an hour and helped him with English and reading. I loved helping him one

Ford Motor Company With Insight Into The Organization...
Henry Ford was born in Michigan in 1863 and as a child, he demonstrated a fascination with
mechanical devices (Pittinger, 2009). He acquired employment with the Edison Illuminating
Company and became chief engineer. This provided him the opportunity to lay the foundation for
the Model T motorcar (introduced in 1908) because he accomplished work on the petrol drive
quadricycle prior to establishing the Ford Motor Companyin 1903. During production, Ford saw a
massive turnover rate, which he wished to reduce, therefore, implemented an unprecedented wage
increase. Additionally, he revolutionized the production line process. Consequently, Ford became a
leader throughout the automobile industry. This paper the focus will be on the Ford motor
company with insight into the organization overview, management, and leadership to include vision
and philosophy, main business activities, demographics, the number of employees, and
sustainability.
Organization Overview
Basic Information Henry Ford established Ford Motor Company in 1903 and today employs
approximately 187,000 employees with 62 plants worldwide (Ford, 2015). Additionally, Ford has
138,000 stockholders, 11,000 plus companies, suppliers, sold more than 6.3 million vehicles
worldwide, and 11,980 dealers. Within the United States, approximately 28 percent of employees
were a minority. This includes 23 percent of female employees with a worldwide rate of 18

An Analytical And Conceptual Framework On The Possibility...
CHAPTER ONE INTRODUCTION This thesis explores an analytical and conceptual framework
on the possibility of employee ownership influence on organizational loyalty as it applies to the
modus operandi of John Lewis Partnership. There are divergent views about the influence of
employee ownership on organizational loyalty. Research suggests that ownership may influence
organizational loyalty (e.g. Taylor, 2011) but it is not completely clear how, thereby prompting
various researches and scientific experimentation on the subject matter. Scholars (e.g. Lampel et al,
2010) reviewing the performance differences between companies that practice employee ownership
framework and other forms, like State owned Enterprises (SOE) have provisioned mixed results. On
the average, these investigation by various scholars and academia opined that employee ownership
and privatization usually results in improved loyalty and financial performance (e.g., Andrew and
Dowling (1998); Martin and Parker (1997), Lioukas and Kouremenos (1989)). The process of
employee ownership, involving all business activities and functions associated with exploitation
and opportunities identification (Bygrave and Hofer, 1991; Shane and Venkataraman, 2000), have
spawned considerable interests from practitioners and academics. In reality, the employee
ownership functionalities are processes and elements that are vital to the growth of a business
organization and economy.

In Shakespeare’s Othello, race is a concept that is only...
In Shakespeare s Othello, race is a concept that is only minimally explored. Characters in the play
assume that, since they are English, they are superior and foreign characters (like Othello the
Moor) are inferior. This is not questioned much at all, and in fact it is assumed outright that
Othello is indeed a lesser man because of his skin color and the ways in which characters like Iago
and Roderigo treat him. While an early modern audience would accept this concept without
hesitation, an audience of today s age is left to question whether Othellois actually acting out
because of the societal pressures, beliefs, and actions put upon him, or because he is inherently
different as a person who is not white. While Shakespeare seems to think... Show more content on

All of these insults are packed into only the first scene of the play there are dozens more
sprinkled throughout, used commonly by Iago and Roderigo, most often behind Othello s back
than to his face. This ever constant presence of racism when regarding Othello is proof of Iago s
plot: to degrade and insult and trick Othello into believing that he is subpar, and therefore
trusting in Iago s accusations of Desdemona s infidelity. But why does Iago despise Othello so
much? The answer is in the text, both explicitly and implicitly. When Roderigo mentions Othello
in the opening scene, Iago states that he is angered by the appointment of Othello as general,
and the appointment of Cassio as his officer. He states that by the faith of man...I am worth no
worse of a price suggesting that he believes he should have been honored with a similar military
position (1.1.10 11). He goes on then to suggest that Cassio is not a fit officer, as he is a great
arithmetician...a Florentine...that never set a squadron in the field in short, Cassio is too
theoretical and inexperienced to be of any use as an officer (1.1.18 21). In addition to his
jealousy of Othello s power, Iago must also be jealous of Othello s wife Desdemona. While
waking up her father Brabanzio to warn him of his daughter s so called treachery in marrying and

The Differences Of The Black Widow And Wonder Woman
There are obvious similarities between Black Widow and Wonder Woman, but the differences are
striking in two specific ways. One being their background and the other being their difference in
powers. The Black Widow has no powers unlike Wonder Woman, and was raised to be a top notch
spy giving her that superheroappeal. However, despite that, both women are seen as amazing Icons
in the comic industry.
Wonder Woman has also have had a very different background from Black Widow, growing up in
the Amazon rather than being an orphan growing up with the Soviet military. The Black Widow
and Wonder Woman are also in different comic companies, Black Widow in Marvel and Wonder
Woman in DC. Despite their differences, both superheros are seen as iconic women in the comic
industry. Their intelligence as individuals are seen as an inspiration to different types of women
around the world. Which creates a powerful movement of women across the nation. If not just for
their intelligence, both Wonder Woman and the Black Widow are in the well known groups
Justice League and the Avengers. In the original series for both women the Black Widow and
Wonder Woman are the first females to part take in those groups. With the empowerment that is
sparked on women all across the nation, the popular comic writers began to weave in more female
superheroes into their works, resulting in more female characters in the newer superhero groups.

The Test Of Emotional Intelligence Test
Reflection Paper
It is always an eye opener to learn something about yourself that you did not know. I found the
results of the quizzes to be very interesting. The first test was a test on how you read people. We
would like to think that we can look at someone and decide not only their mood but also if they
are a good person or not, but is that always the case? The second test was an emotional intelligence
test. It evaluates such things as self awareness, self management, social awareness, and relationship
management. Through taking both of these tests, it gives tools to better yourself.
In the first test, How Well Do You Read Other People?, it gives you a series of faces and you are

Self awareness 6
Self Management 5
Social Awareness 7
Relationship Management 4
After reading the descriptions of the quadrants it, it shows both strength and weaknesses I have
and gives me an idea of what I need to work on or adjust to help me become more successful.
The first category is self awareness. It is made up of three competencies; they are emotional self
awareness, accurate self assessment, and self confidence. These sub categories allow you to be
critically self reflective, which helps in improving yourself. In this categories I only got a six
out of ten which leads me to believe that my emotions play a part in my work and personal life,
and that I need to work on recognizing how to read and understand my emotions. It also shows I
may be unrealistic about my personal evaluation of my strengths and weaknesses. And lastly, that
I may not recognize my own positive self worth. I think my strength in this category is my self
confidence. As I may not always allot for it, I do know I have self worth. I am confident in my

There are two broad categories of Hip hop dance: new school and old school. Old school of hip
hop dance contains several styles that were created in the 1970s and 1980s, including breaking,

close to the ground. Breaking dance is a battle between several groups. Dancers use different
movements, spins with heads, leg movements and arm movements. They dance to the rhythms
of hip hop music. Generally speaking, breaking is more suitable for males because it is more
masculine and fiercer. Although popping and locking dances look similar, there are many
differences between them. In locking, dancers maintain a movement for a while. Main
movements in locking contain lock, points, and rollover of the fist. Popping dance takes use of
vibration of body parts according to the rhythm. Main movements of popping include floating,
gliding, and sliding, ticking and robot. New school hip hop dance includes house, street jazz and
other forms that were created in the 1990s (Bronner 3). New forms of hip hop introduce many
elements of other dance styles, such as jazz, Latin dance and ballet. Generally, they are more
suitable for females. Hip hop has gained popularity among young people in many countries, such

Commodities And The Stock Market
When comes to commodities and the stock market, investors are quick to blame oil prices for
causing market volatility. Granted this is case more often than not, other commodities such as
corn and gold have a tremendous impact on daily stock prices. Global commodities are typically
broken down into 4 basic headers; energy, metals, agriculture, meat livestock, and consumer.
Energy, as we know, watch the most heavily scrutinized assets including oil and natural gases.
Metals, on the other hand, track our most precious assets, gold and silver. While agriculture, meat
livestock and consumer observe corn, coffee and live cattle to name a few. Since commodities, and

Obviously when oil prices are volatile, earnings from company s like Exxon Mobil will
fluctuate. Investors are quick to take notice of this, causing share prices of energy companies to
fall. However, what you may not be aware of is that oil is a key input into a variety of goods and
products we use daily. Retail manufactures often use oil to make plastics or fertilizers found at
your local Walmart. By extension, when the price of oil rises, major retailers pass on rising costs
onto consumers in the form of higher prices. If they aren t able to pass along the cost increase, then
retailers face an adverse impact on margins, subsequently hurting stock prices. Moreover, oil prices
have a directly effect what you end up paying at theh pump. When oils prices are high, consumer
spending typically suffers since consumers must dig deeper to on necessities and fuel. Auto
manufactures often feel this effect through falling sales of its higher margin SUVs and trucks.
Gold
Unlike oil, gold prices indirectly follows movements in the market. Throughout history gold has
been viewed as a counter cyclical asset, which means the precious metals gains value during
market down turns. Since gold is found all over the world and holds high intrinsic value, it is
often viewed as a universal currency. When the outlook of the equity markets looks bleak or
corporate earnings are destined for doom, investors will flock to the precious

they did by leaving out some key information about the suspects backgrounds.

Recruitment Of Well Qualified, Goal Driven And...
The recruitment of well qualified, goal driven and professional employees is essential when staffing
any company. Throughout the hiring process, the human resource manager may encounter a few
obstacles when attempting to efficiently fill positions. Each position in a company is crucial to the
company s success and filling them should be taken very seriously. Some positions such as
customer service representative can become difficult to fill especially when happy customers are
the key to success.
When the recruitment process becomes difficult, a job analysis can get to the root of the problem.
A job analysis is a process to identify and determine in detail the particular job duties and
requirements and the relative importance of these duties for a given job. There are different
approaches that may be taken when completing a job analysis, it is up to the human resource
manager to determine which approaches are the most effective. For example, job analysis may be
completed by interviewing job holders and supervisors, using questionnaires, and also using
observation to gather background information.
When using the interviewing process to complete a job analysis the main goal is to collect
information from current position holders, by asking them to describe the many tasks and duties
that are performed. These interviews may be either structured or unstructured. Throughout the
unstructured interview there is no set of prepared questions, however the goal should be to explain

Current research attempts to find neurobiological or genetic evidence as possible sources for ASD.
Within the research and medical communities, there are disagreements as to which characteristics
define an individual as having a condition within ASD. For example, the changes within the 4th and
5th editions of the American Psychiatric Association DSM, removes Asperger s Syndrome as a
condition, causing much controversy. It is this controversy about Asperger s Syndrome significance
that this review hopes to elucidate.
Background:
Asperger s syndrome is on the higher functioning spectrum of ASD. Individuals with ASP have

together with a purpose, they talk about student learning, and the teachers share the same vision.
The challenge is maintaining consistency across the board and motivating every teacher to stay

teachers had to share with their group members common challenges they face every school year.

Insurance Finance, suggests that [c]urrent usage patterns show it s a safe bet that drones are
destined to play an increasingly important role in business relationships (Pritchard, 2015). Once
solely in the hands of professional organizations and governmentactivities, drone technology is now
more available to hobbyists and casual users.
The role of local government, and by extension public administrators, is always under review by
its citizens. Because the job of government is to legislate and make decisions in areas over which
they have legislative authority (VMA, 2012) and to develop and implement policy, local
governments must be able to react to emerging technologies and provide a safe environment for its
citizens.
Drones Here and Now In January 2014, the done technology was still emerging as a high dollar
endeavor for government agencies and wealthy hobbyists. Two years later, an advanced drone
can be purchased online with overnight delivery from hundreds of different websites. In 2014,
Governing Magazine wrote that the use of drones is allowed by the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) on a case by case basis, largely for public and research use by law

The Maoree Culture Of Traditional Maori Culture In The...
The characters in the film Whale Rider choose how they will incorporate traditional Maori
culture into their modern life. Whale Rider is set in a small New Zealand coastal village
inhabited by Maoris who claim descent from Paikea, the Whale Rider. For 1,000 years a male
heir of the Chief has become leader of the tribe. At the beginning of the film, the wife of
Porourangi, the Chief s eldest son, dies in childbirth along with the male twin she was carrying.
The surviving child, a girl, is given the name of Pai, the traditional name given to the male child.
Porourangi is grief stricken and departs for Europe, leaving Pai to be brought up by her
grandparents, Koro and Nanny Flowers. Koro loves Pai, but won t accept her as Chief. He is
convinced that the troubles of the tribe are attributable to Pai aspiring to be leader. He tries
unsuccessfully to train the other boys in the tribe for the role. Far out at sea a school of whales
respond to Pai s calls for guidance. They swim to the village but become beached. Symbolically the
tribe will die. Only Pai is willing to make the sacrifice to save her people, and because of this Koro
accepts her leadership. Koro refuses to accept Pai as leader despite her repeatedly showing
herself to be more capable than any of the boys. We see her challenging the old ways, and
undertaking the gruelling demands of traditional warrior practice. It is she who goes into the sea
to bring back Koro s prize possession. The casting of

The product mix of business, which is generally defined as the total composite of products offered

often are closely related. Despite, the functionality in a similar manner, and are sold to the same

The product is a distinct unit within the produce line that is distinguishable by size, price,

Australian Film Industry
Wither The Australian Film Industry?
After I moved to Australia at the hindsight of this year, I happened to make an argument to myself
in regard to the state of the Australia Film Industry. However, over the course of the year, being
established here with my studies, analyzing the employment market and meeting professionals from
the industry, it is conclusive that the Australian FilmIndustry is indeed facing a severe crisis from
the past two decades.
One can easily pick the selectively handful films that have proved to be excellent in the Australian
cinemas. Additionally, there is a wide segment of the Australian audience that is unaware of
numerous Australian releases from the time. I have tended to wonder why it has been 20 years ...

identifiably Australian are quite limited. Dr. John s in his lectures highlighted the cultural
differences quite a bit and I completely agree with his views. The main themes that resonated in the
past have in some ways been discredited and with others yet to take their place. To a large extent the
cultural language has been lost. The consequences of internationalism and globalisation have
separated the Australian population from the national cinema market. This disturbance has
provoked a change in the nature of government funding, dominant film institutions and Australian
audiences. These changes mean that the Australian national cinema must reassess funding policies

Pediatric Dentists
Pediatric dentists work with younger children in need of oral care through creating a friendly and
comfortable environment. In an interview, Adam Shisler, DDS, explains the daily life of a pediatric
dentist. The dentist and staff begin the day at 8:30 AM by going over the game plan and relevant
charts for the day. Then, they begin check ups, appointments, and in office sedations until the
afternoon when they take an hour to an hour and half lunch break. After this break, the practice

Typography And The Printing Press
1. Typography Typography, according to Preece and Wells, is the design or selection of letter
forms to be organized into words and sentences for printing upon a page. Furthermore, the practice
of typography goes beyond the creation of the type or the font. According to Preece and Wells,
typography includes paper selection, the choice of ink to be used in printing, the printing method,
and the binding process in cases where the printed material is a book. Although the use of
typography became drastically more popular during the invention of the printing pressin the mid
fifteenth century, the use of typography goes beyond this period in history. Before the invention of
the concept of typography, writingwas already a popular form of visual communication, the history
of which dates to the use of hieroglyphs or pictograms in ancient times (Siebert). Per John Siebert,
before the invention of the printing press which revolutionized the practice of typography, the
alphabets, and phonographic writing, these ancient forms of writing were used by civilizations to
express their ideas. The very first recorded examples of written communication were the ancient
cave paintings dating back around 20,000 years; however, the first forms of formal writing were
invented by the Sumerians around 3500 B.C (Siebert). According to John Siebert, ancient writing
systems grew more complex as civilizations began to advance. Ancient Egyptians incorporated
symbols and ideograms into their structures

Abortion Views On Abortion
Did you know that there are 1.1 million abortions in the US each year? How about that 51% of
abortions are performed on women less than 25 years of age? Although having an abortion is
something no individual would want to think about, nearly 1 in 4 of pregnancies end in abortion.
Due to the major social and emotional implications that come with abortions, pro life and pro choice
opinions are passionately debated amongst politicians. Planned Parenthood was founded in
Brooklyn, New York in 1916 by Margaret Sanger, Rania Mindell, and Ethel Bryne. These women all
shared the same values that women have the right to decide when and whether to have a child, and
to make it more accessible for many women. The current mission statement to Planned Parenthood
is believing in the fundamental right of each individual, throughout the world, to manage his or her
fertility, regardless of the individual s income, marital status, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age,
national origin, or residence. There are now over 650 health clinics in the United States providing
numerous services for nearly five million men, women, and adolescents.

Picked to Work on A Secret Project
Nicholas Boyster was one of eight scientists the government had handpicked to work on their
newest secret project. Only being in his early twenties, Boyster was practically a child compared
to the other scientists, none of them younger then forty. Boyster s young age was not the only
thing the other scientists disliked about him, just the most official one. His general appearance
fell far short of meeting their approval, too. Boyster s dark hair hung down to his shoulders,
often looking as if it had never seen a brush before. In the eyes of the others only short, neat hair
befitted a person of their standing. After all, only the best were handpicked for government
projects. Last but not least were Boyster s clothes, he wore faded jeans and t shirts instead of the
suit pants and dress shirts the others donned every day. The dislike was definitely mutual though.
Boyster thought all the other scientists were stuffy old geezers, who had long lost the love for the
job and were now just going through the motions. And his immediate boss was the worst of all.
Mr. Bright was very set in his ways, never budging even an inch. The other scientists opinions and
ideas didn t matter at all; his word was law. On their first day of work together he had set up a
strict set of rules he expected everyone to adhere to. It had taken Boyster a total of five minutes to

Don Giovanni Research Paper
A hero is commonly defined by actions which help and aid others. Notable heroes sacrifice their
own wants for the greater good of others, act courageously, and break the norm. The infamous Don
Giovanni in Mozart s Don Giovanni does not fit the conventional idea of a hero. Although he acts
with courage in odd circumstances and appears to adapt radical Enlightenment values, he does not
act in the interest of others. As an 18th century womanizer, or libertine, all sacrifices made by
Giovanni throughout the plot are to serve his own impulses. Therefore, Don Giovanni is a
character that is more equivalent to a stubborn child than a moral hero.

Faith Integration Paper

Lead By Example Faith Integration Paper My father and uncles instilled a statement in my head
from a young age that I will never forget. This statement is closely related to the Law of Legacy
and very relevant to being a leader in the modern business world. The statement only consists of
a few words, but these words are very powerful and if this statement is followed, your reputation
as a leader will be respected and hopefully emulated. The statement is, Lead by example, do what
is right, be the best you can be, and treat others the way you would like to be treated. I believe
this statement is related to the law of legacy because it is action oriented. John Maxwell states in
his description of the law of legacy that leaders ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Each of these phases incorporated Jesus as leading by example and with each new phase, a higher
level of commitment is necessary. The goal of this demonstration is that through your example,
they will learn and use your tools to translate into being successful leaders themselves.
A biblical example of the law of legacy comes from Moses in the book of Numbers. The scripture
comes from Numbers 27:18 23. In this scripture, Moses strategically taught Joshua through
apprenticeship training and passed along his legacy, which no one questioned upon the passing
of the torch. Joshua eventually became known as a leader who would complete the task of
leading the people into the Promised Land. This, according to Maxwell s description of the Law
of Legacy is the ultimate goal, and exactly what Moses achieved. The subsequent examples are not
only relevant to Moses teaching Joshua in the biblical times, but also for a modern leader
preparing his sheep for taking over the business.
Moses empowered Joshua and gave him authority. To be a successful leader in the modern
business world, you have to decide when it is the appropriate time for your successor to receive a
bite of the pie. If you wait to long and they are thrown straight into the fire, success may not be
achieved and your legacy and or reputation may be damaged. If you share the load with your
successor, they can better understand the qualities and actions needed to be successful.

World War One Heritage And Remembrance
The war has always acted as a vicious muse for songwriters.
Since Antiquity, it has inspired a vast song repertoire, which has been able to describe tragic events
in a vivid and striking way.
Governments and rulers used and are still using music with propagandistic and mass control aims;
patriotic composers consecrate their works to glorify belligerent ideals and galvanise the troops,
while pacifist or subversive ones tries to condemn warfare.
Music is also extensively used after wars with commemorative goals or therapeutic objectives.
However, it is undoubtedly among common soldiers that music reveals its most authentic and frank
aspects.
Soldiers are indeed the only ones who live wars first hand, experiencing the tragedies of life on the
frontline and bluntly describing them.
The First World War is one of the historic events that have impressed the most the creative souls,
because of its inhumanity and momentous nature.
In fact, it is still source for a cultural and social debate in many countries, primarily Italy.
World War One heritage and remembrance is indeed a controversial topic for the Italian civil
society: during the last decades, its memory has been widely exploited by political opportunists and
a sincere and a truthful representation of the events is far to be portrayed.
In point of fact, one of the few reliable sources is embodied by soldiers songs.
This project aims indeed to recall the most significant examples of Italian soldiers and trenches

Vandalization Of Graffiti
For several decades, graffiti has been a subject of great contention. Is it art that should be
appreciated? Or is it vandalism that must be condemned? Semantics aside, what can be definitively
agreed upon is that graffiti is an urban phenomenon and that its many manifestations are unique in
their own ways. The urban landscape that is the canvas for graffiti artists and taggers houses some
of society s most problematic factors, such as socioeconomic disparities, power struggles, political
unrest, and a sense of isolation. For some communities and individuals, these social stratifications
and feelings of detachment have led to their use of graffiti as an outlet to express their urban
realities. To understand the communal usages of graffiti, there must first be an understanding of
which communities are frequently using graffiti and what factors of citylife are the causation. Often
times when people think of graffiti, ganggraffiti is one of the first forms that come to mind.
However, in order to analyze gang graffiti, it should be questioned as to why there are even urban
gangs in the first place. Many gangs reside in impoverished inner citycommunities and as such
they are subject to substandard housing, poor education, high rates of substance abuse, and violent
crime (Marcionis and Parillo 2013:277). In order to cope with their troubled lives, residents of
high poverty urban neighborhoods [will] by necessity form network links to survive (212) and
gangs are one of these network links. Additionally, Marcionis and Parillo find that in lower
economic communities, the collective sharing of tangibles and non tangibles is an important
coping strategy (212) in managing their disenfranchised lives, and gangs will, at times, provide
both tangible and non tangible resources via money, physical protection, shared values, and kinship.
In gangs, there is also evidence of modern gemeinschafts and mechanical solidarities, given their
provision of kinship, sharing of resources, and protection for urbanites that feel largely
marginalized by those with power (123). Like the gemeinschafts and mechanical solidarities of old,
gangs are close knit communities with in group out group mentalities and are what Gans

Reflection On The Seamstress
The Seamstress dramatically changed how I viewed the Holocaust because it not only showed
me how intolerable the conditions were, but also how poorly the Jews were treated. Before
reading The Seamstress I did not fully grasp the concept of the Holocaust or the fact that the
Jews were scared for their lives. My knowledge of the tragic event was very vague, and I didn t
understand it was so horrific. Not only were the survivors extremely brave, but they also suffered
unbearable scenarios which I, myself, do not believe I could withstand. Initially, the book showed
me that the Jewswere despised, preyed upon, and often felt very unsafe just walkingin the street. It s
very sad that people felt unsafe around their homes, and where they grew up. It s also sad that
Jews were harrassed in the street and around their houses. I think you should be able to walk
freely without being nervous to be taunted. The Jews, however, couldn t walk freely, were so often

believe that hate and racism is taught, and the German s definitely taught their children to hate the

German soldiers felt superior and could shoot any Jew they wanted for any reason, or no reason
at all. Most of the time there was no motive for the killings. The book told us that the soldiers
went and rounded up the people who remained in one village. They were all given shovels and told
to dig a long trench, six feet deep and four feet wide. As soon as the trench was completed everyone

Example Of Government Manipulation
Government Manipulation The United States government claims that that they are always for
the people of America. And make it sound patriotic and civilized like everything is going the
way it should. When in reality they are hiding the truth from the U.S citizens whether it is
education, laws, or news from the media. The United States government continues to buy/adopt
new government plans through media that we are not always fully aware of. John Maxwell
Hamilton/ Kevin Kosar explain specific ways in which they are doing to control what we
choose/pay for. We have a right to know which companies receive government contracts, how to
collect insurance benefits and social security payments and what public school educational
reform will look like. But too often, the government uses its information machinery to do more
than simply inform us about a policy. Sometimes, it tries to persuade us to adopt a particular
position, regardless of its efficacy. What Hamilton and Kosar are saying is that the government is
very bias about media propaganda and persuading the people of the United States about plans
/regulations that we barely understand or know about, into using our own money towards what
they want. Rather than the other choices that they did not want us to know. This also relates to
large news sources such as, Fox News and CNN, who tend to have a bias point of view with little
background information as possible. People tend to believe Fox News because of their popularity

George The Sixth
King George the Sixth was born on December 14, 1895 in Norfolk, England. His real name was
Albert Fredrick Arthur George Saxe Coburg Gotha. He was the second born child child of King
George The Fifth and Victoria May. His mother was the Duchess of York. His parents raised him
very strictly. He was often sick or very ill and easily frightened, these are the traits he would
never lose even through adulthood. He also developed a stammer as a child which would
eventually affect his public speaking as an adult. His father was very harsh towards Albert. Albert
was naturally left handed as a child but the tutors his parents had for him forced him to use his

The King was very disgusted when he heard of the news that the South African government said
to only shake hands with the whites in Africa. The stress of this war was starting to take a toll
on George s health and well being. On the 12th of March the king was up for an operation to
remove a thrombosis on his right leg. A planned tour of Australia and New Zealand was
postponed due to the operation the king was having during this time. After the operation was
finished it threatened to have his right ler removed. With the news of this George s daughter
heiress presumptive took on a lot more royal duties. The originally delayed tour of Australia and
New Zealand was reorganized by Elizabeth and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh taking the
place of the king and queen. The king eventually healed up enough to open the Festival of Britain
but shortly after there was a tumor found in his right lung which ultimately ended up with him
having to get that lung removed. The lung was removed by Clement Thomas Price. In 1951 the
king s daughter and her husband took a trip to Canada. Which is where they stayed for a month,
but it was originally delayed again because of the king s health. At the state opening of parliament
the king s speech was read for him while he satin the throne because he couldn t read the speech
himself. It was read by Lord Simmons and then again in Christmas when the king usually
broadcasted a speech he had to do the speeches in

Fleclosure Research Paper
Closure can be defined as a way of coming to terms with something that has happened. A certain
something that can be seen as torturous, taunting, and sometimes even deadly. As a therapist, I
have patients every day who are in search of anything that comes close to healing their wounds.
Even though it may seem simple to someone looking at the situation from the outside, it is the
complete opposite for a victim on the inside. Recently, I had a patient who has altered my whole
mindset on closure and how valuable life can be. Names will not be provided. She suffered the
traumatic experience of being raped and watching her husband be murdered right in front of her.
Not only does she live to tell the story, she lived to go through the trauma of it afterwards. The
impact this situation had on her life has altered every single point of view she has. When she
came to me, all she wanted was a way to get through it all. She kept asking me to give her an
estimated time of how long it will take her to recover from the pain and suffering. I always
answered with You need to find closure. Something that will repair and begin to heal the wound. It
will never go away, but you must learn to live it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She was not the same person from the first session. She looked determined and strong. I asked
her what she felt and what she was set to do now that she began to find her closure. She replied, I
forgive this man. If I don t, I will never stop hating him and what he did. I won t be able to move
on. He did not answer my questions and I still don t know why he did what he did or what caused
him to choose us. I don t even want to know anymore... for what? It will only make me go crazy.
Before, I was simply surviving with the fact that this terrible thing happened to me. Now, I am
learning to live with it. I am on a journey towards my recovery. I will heal the wounds that have
been made on me, and I will be stronger than

Raised by stepfather Frank Reynolds, a successful business man with unethical methods, and mother Barbara Reynolds, a selfish woman who only married Frank for his wealth. Dennis and his twin sister Dee were raised wealthy but were often misguidedly taught to not seek affection through materials. For example, every Christmas Frank would buy gifts for his children only to destroy it while the children watched. Dennis attended the University of Pennsylvania to become a veterinarian while minoring in Psychology. He often tries to use his Psychology minor to his advantage, an example being his attempt to psychoanalyze his friends whilst berating the actual psychiatrist and mocking her for attending a subpar university. His academic studies were unable to translate into a career, however he is co owner of the bar, Paddy s Pub in Philadelphia. Dennis along with his sister Dee, father Frank, and two friends Macand Charlie, use the bar as a hangout spot often concocting schemes and shenanigans. Though the bar makes very little money, Dennis maintains his lavish lifestyle with his father s money often wearing high end clothing, driving a Land Rover, and getting into sticky situations while placing little care on the financial ramifications. Their culture was inspired by the empire before them, the Olmec s. They were believed to be the people who migrated after the collapse of Teotihuacan. The significance of their existence is because it serves as the foundation of the Mesoamerican Civilization s culture. The Toltec people were founded after the collapse of the city Teotihuacan. They spoke Nahuatl which is the same language as the Aztecs. • 6. Antidepressants During Pregnancy Research Paper Abstract With the increase of depression among many women, the risk for neonatal deficiencies may be linked to medications used during pregnancy. It is speculated that there are a multitude of health risks to the fetus if an expecting mother is prescribed antidepressants for Major Depressive Disorders. It is also hypothesized that there may be long term effects to the child after birth if the mother of the child was taking antidepressants during her pregnancy. Postnatal psychological effects may be due to the onset of the drugs during pregnancy, and there may be a link between a child s physical and psychological state once born, due to the drugs, but is not correlated to women that have used antidepressants before pregnancy. Results identify that there are many negative effects of antidepressants use during pregnancy. 2 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Depression during pregnancy impacts the emotional well being between a mother and child, resulting in a lost connection between the two. It has been suggested that a lesser maternal attachment can be correlated with depression. Women lacking emotion in their relationships often suffer from depression (Haedt, A., Keel, P., 2007). The deficit of an interpersonal maternal relationship can be linked back to the mother s onset of depression during pregnancy. Symptoms of depression are known psychological factors that may contribute to higher rates of negative birth outcomes in women (Giurgescu, C., Engeland, C. G., Templin, T. N. ,2015). This lack of emotion between a mother and her child can have ultimately negative effects on the child s attachment and emotional well being. Just as women with postpartum depression, it is difficult for women with depression during pregnancy to feel close to their offspring, which could lead to emotional or physical ... • 7. Recommendations For Prevention And Mitigation Recommendations for Prevention/Mitigation Many ports do not have cyber response plans contained within broader risk plans (Kramek). All of the ports studied by Kramek had a dedicated security officer and a dedicated IT staff, but the security officers focus usually remained on traditional physical security threats, and IT was a separate and distinct department from security (Kramek). Kramek states, cyber security threats were not part of the security officer s response portfolio . Most security officers thought that their IT staff would notify them in some form or fashion if a cyber incident threatened port operations (Kramek). However, when during the response this notification to the security officers would be made is unclear given the lack of written response plans (Kramek). Ports need their IT department to be continually communicating with their security department. This would keep all the staff in the loop on current difficulties and security impairments and allow staff to find a cyber incident before it becomes too bad. Ports need to make sure that they have thorough written response plans in the case of a cyber security incident and that all IT and security staff that will be involved are ready to execute the plan if needed. These plans need to take into account that many industrial control systems are dependent, like many systems at ports and marine terminals, and run off computer networks (Sain). • 8. Maturity In Tom Sawyer Throughout multiple exciting adventures and dangerous explorations in the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer , we see Tom Sawyer mature. He matures through the love of Aunt Polly, Becky, Huck and other characters in the novel. In his search for treasure, Tom learns about personal accountability. Even in everyday life, we watch him develop from a boyinto an adult. From a selfish young, mischievous lad, Tom becomes a sincere, kind and responsible young man. Before we continue, we should discuss what maturity is. According to Wikipedia, the definition of maturity is a psychological term used to indicate that a person responds to the circumstances or environment in an appropriate and adaptive manner. This response is generally learned rather than instinctual, and is not determined by one s age. Maturity also encompasses awareness of the correct time and place to behave, knowing when to act with appropriate emotion for the situation. Maturity incorporates personal accountability, meaning you take ownership of situations you are involved in. By following one s conscience, you are taking personal accountability. During the adventures of Huck and Tom s treasure hunting, the two came across the antagonist, Injun Joe. Earlier, Huck and Tom witnessed Injun Joe murder a doctor and put the blame on an innocent man. The two juvenile boys had made a vow that neither of them would tell anyone since they were scared that Injun Joe would come after them. This shows fear that most people would experience in this situation. Knowing that an innocent man will be punished for an act he did not commit, Tom s conscience convinced him to testify against Injun Joe, freeing a guiltless man. Critics... view incidents such as Tom s encounters with Injun Joe...as confrontations between innocence and evil which initiate Tom into the world of adult responsibilities and consequences. Near the beginning of the book, Tom falls in love with a beautiful young girl, Becky. The relationship that Tom and Becky shared is very childish and immature. • 11. An Analytical And Conceptual Framework On The Possibility... CHAPTER ONE INTRODUCTION This thesis explores an analytical and conceptual framework on the possibility of employee ownership influence on organizational loyalty as it applies to the modus operandi of John Lewis Partnership. There are divergent views about the influence of employee ownership on organizational loyalty. Research suggests that ownership may influence organizational loyalty (e.g. Taylor, 2011) but it is not completely clear how, thereby prompting various researches and scientific experimentation on the subject matter. Scholars (e.g. Lampel et al, 2010) reviewing the performance differences between companies that practice employee ownership framework and other forms, like State owned Enterprises (SOE) have provisioned mixed results. On the average, these investigation by various scholars and academia opined that employee ownership and privatization usually results in improved loyalty and financial performance (e.g., Andrew and Dowling (1998); Martin and Parker (1997), Lioukas and Kouremenos (1989)). The process of employee ownership, involving all business activities and functions associated with exploitation and opportunities identification (Bygrave and Hofer, 1991; Shane and Venkataraman, 2000), have spawned considerable interests from practitioners and academics. In reality, the employee ownership functionalities are processes and elements that are vital to the growth of a business organization and economy. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. In Shakespeare’s Othello, race is a concept that is only... In Shakespeare s Othello, race is a concept that is only minimally explored. Characters in the play assume that, since they are English, they are superior and foreign characters (like Othello the Moor) are inferior. This is not questioned much at all, and in fact it is assumed outright that Othello is indeed a lesser man because of his skin color and the ways in which characters like Iago and Roderigo treat him. While an early modern audience would accept this concept without hesitation, an audience of today s age is left to question whether Othellois actually acting out because of the societal pressures, beliefs, and actions put upon him, or because he is inherently different as a person who is not white. While Shakespeare seems to think... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All of these insults are packed into only the first scene of the play there are dozens more sprinkled throughout, used commonly by Iago and Roderigo, most often behind Othello s back than to his face. This ever constant presence of racism when regarding Othello is proof of Iago s plot: to degrade and insult and trick Othello into believing that he is subpar, and therefore trusting in Iago s accusations of Desdemona s infidelity. But why does Iago despise Othello so much? The answer is in the text, both explicitly and implicitly. When Roderigo mentions Othello in the opening scene, Iago states that he is angered by the appointment of Othello as general, and the appointment of Cassio as his officer. He states that by the faith of man...I am worth no worse of a price suggesting that he believes he should have been honored with a similar military position (1.1.10 11). However, what you may not be aware of is that oil is a key input into a variety of goods and products we use daily. Retail manufactures often use oil to make plastics or fertilizers found at your local Walmart. Per John Siebert, before the invention of the printing press which revolutionized the practice of typography, the alphabets, and phonographic writing, these ancient forms of writing were used by civilizations to express their ideas. The very first recorded examples of written communication were the ancient cave paintings dating back around 20,000 years; however, the first forms of formal writing were invented by the Sumerians around 3500 B.C (Siebert). According to John Siebert, ancient writing systems grew more complex as civilizations began to advance. Ancient Egyptians incorporated symbols and ideograms into their structures ... • 35. Picked to Work on A Secret Project Nicholas Boyster was one of eight scientists the government had handpicked to work on their newest secret project. Only being in his early twenties, Boyster was practically a child compared to the other scientists, none of them younger then forty. Boyster s young age was not the only thing the other scientists disliked about him, just the most official one. His general appearance fell far short of meeting their approval, too. Boyster s dark hair hung down to his shoulders, often looking as if it had never seen a brush before. In the eyes of the others only short, neat hair befitted a person of their standing. After all, only the best were handpicked for government projects. Last but not least were Boyster s clothes, he wore faded jeans and t shirts instead of the suit pants and dress shirts the others donned every day. The dislike was definitely mutual though. Boyster thought all the other scientists were stuffy old geezers, who had long lost the love for the job and were now just going through the motions. And his immediate boss was the worst of all. Mr. Bright was very set in his ways, never budging even an inch. The other scientists opinions and ideas didn t matter at all; his word was law. On their first day of work together he had set up a strict set of rules he expected everyone to adhere to. In this scripture, Moses strategically taught Joshua through apprenticeship training and passed along his legacy, which no one questioned upon the passing of the torch. Joshua eventually became known as a leader who would complete the task of leading the people into the Promised Land. This, according to Maxwell s description of the Law of Legacy is the ultimate goal, and exactly what Moses achieved. The subsequent examples are not only relevant to Moses teaching Joshua in the biblical times, but also for a modern leader preparing his sheep for taking over the business. • 40. World War One Heritage And Remembrance The war has always acted as a vicious muse for songwriters. Since Antiquity, it has inspired a vast song repertoire, which has been able to describe tragic events in a vivid and striking way. Governments and rulers used and are still using music with propagandistic and mass control aims; patriotic composers consecrate their works to glorify belligerent ideals and galvanise the troops, while pacifist or subversive ones tries to condemn warfare. Music is also extensively used after wars with commemorative goals or therapeutic objectives. However, it is undoubtedly among common soldiers that music reveals its most authentic and frank aspects. Soldiers are indeed the only ones who live wars first hand, experiencing the tragedies of life on the frontline and bluntly describing them. The First World War is one of the historic events that have impressed the most the creative souls, because of its inhumanity and momentous nature. In fact, it is still source for a cultural and social debate in many countries, primarily Italy. World War One heritage and remembrance is indeed a controversial topic for the Italian civil society: during the last decades, its memory has been widely exploited by political opportunists and a sincere and a truthful representation of the events is far to be portrayed. • 42. Vandalization Of Graffiti For several decades, graffiti has been a subject of great contention. Is it art that should be appreciated? Or is it vandalism that must be condemned? Semantics aside, what can be definitively agreed upon is that graffiti is an urban phenomenon and that its many manifestations are unique in their own ways. The urban landscape that is the canvas for graffiti artists and taggers houses some of society s most problematic factors, such as socioeconomic disparities, power struggles, political unrest, and a sense of isolation. For some communities and individuals, these social stratifications and feelings of detachment have led to their use of graffiti as an outlet to express their urban realities. To understand the communal usages of graffiti, there must first be an understanding of which communities are frequently using graffiti and what factors of citylife are the causation. Often times when people think of graffiti, ganggraffiti is one of the first forms that come to mind. However, in order to analyze gang graffiti, it should be questioned as to why there are even urban gangs in the first place. Many gangs reside in impoverished inner citycommunities and as such they are subject to substandard housing, poor education, high rates of substance abuse, and violent crime (Marcionis and Parillo 2013:277). In order to cope with their troubled lives, residents of high poverty urban neighborhoods [will] by necessity form network links to survive (212) and gangs are one of these network links. Additionally, Marcionis and Parillo find that in lower economic communities, the collective sharing of tangibles and non tangibles is an important coping strategy (212) in managing their disenfranchised lives, and gangs will, at times, provide both tangible and non tangible resources via money, physical protection, shared values, and kinship. In gangs, there is also evidence of modern gemeinschafts and mechanical solidarities, given their provision of kinship, sharing of resources, and protection for urbanites that feel largely marginalized by those with power (123). Like the gemeinschafts and mechanical solidarities of old, gangs are close knit communities with in group out group mentalities and are what Gans ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My knowledge of the tragic event was very vague, and I didn t understand it was so horrific. Not only were the survivors extremely brave, but they also suffered unbearable scenarios which I, myself, do not believe I could withstand. Initially, the book showed me that the Jewswere despised, preyed upon, and often felt very unsafe just walkingin the street. It s very sad that people felt unsafe around their homes, and where they grew up. It s also sad that Jews were harrassed in the street and around their houses. I think you should be able to walk freely without being nervous to be taunted. The Jews, however, couldn t walk freely, were so often spit on, and called names by the Germans. Sadly, even the kids were being so mean to the Jews. I believe that hate and racism is taught, and the German s definitely taught their children to hate the Jews. And make it sound patriotic and civilized like everything is going the way it should. When in reality they are hiding the truth from the U.S citizens whether it is education, laws, or news from the media. The United States government continues to buy/adopt new government plans through media that we are not always fully aware of. John Maxwell Hamilton/ Kevin Kosar explain specific ways in which they are doing to control what we choose/pay for. We have a right to know which companies receive government contracts, how to collect insurance benefits and social security payments and what public school educational reform will look like. But too often, the government uses its information machinery to do more than simply inform us about a policy. Sometimes, it tries to persuade us to adopt a particular position, regardless of its efficacy. What Hamilton and Kosar are saying is that the government is very bias about media propaganda and persuading the people of the United States about plans /regulations that we barely understand or know about, into using our own money towards what they want.
