• Indicate the methodology used
• Present the main finding and
conclusion

9.  The problem statement describes the
issue exists in theory that leads to need

 The 5W’s can be used to spark the
discussion about the problem.

summarize what is to be achieved by the

• Too many objectives to be avoided
• Even just one clearly stated relevant
objective for a study would be good
enough
• If there is more than one objective the
objectives can be presented in the
appropriate order of importance
