This document provides an overview and schedule for a social studies lesson on geography. It outlines the daily activities which include a check-in, current events presentations, recapping climate change from the previous class, a presentation on world regions, and an activity identifying geographic terms. It also previews the unit which will focus on each of the 8 major world regions through specific themes and unique topics. Students will keep a journal on the physical and human geography of each region. The class will end with questions and a reminder of the homework which is to complete a worksheet on geographic terms and read the textbook pages.
