What is geography? Geography  is the study of the  Earth  and its features and of the distribution of life on the earth, including human life and the effects of human activity.
 
Why we study Geography? Knowledge  relationship between people, animals and the environment. Skills  Acquire skills on formation of natural features. Locating places. Critical thinking skills Decision making skills
Geography The word comes from the  Greek  words  Ge  ( γη ) or  Gaea  ( γαια ), both meaning  "Earth" , and  graphein  ( γραφειν ) meaning  "to describe"  or "to write".
