We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2. 1. What is your age?
The majority of people questioned were
aged 13-17. This is due to the people I was
able to question. As I wanted a large amount
of results I posted the questionnaire on
Facebook and due to a majority of people I
know being the same age to me caused the
results to be favourable to this age group. As
I am focusing on the 18 to 45 for my
magazine I’ll use the individual responses for
this age group to shape my magazine design
and layouts.
What is your age?
12 or less 13-17 18 to 24 25 to 44 45+
3. 2. What is your
gender?
From the people questioned a majority of
which were male. As I want to create a
magazine focused on the male audience this
should hopefully provide useful information
into what my audience could be looking for.
What is your gender?
Male Female
4. 3. What genres of
music do you listen
to?
The three biggest genres from my
questionnaire are Pop, Rock, and Rap. I will
focus on these genres when building my
magazine and from further analysis into the
18-45 age bracket the rock genre was very
popular so I will primarily focus on that
genre.

willing to pay for a
Rock/Life-style magazine ?
As a general price range the most people
would pay around £2.50 so I’ll price my
product around this range or perhaps a little
more due to my target audience.

6. 5. How often would
you like the magazine
to be published?
The overall majority is monthly so ill indicate
this by showing the issue as “October 2015”
or something similar to indicate it’s a
monthly publication.
How often would you like the magazine to be published?
Weekly Fortnightly Monthly Quarterly Bi-annually Annually
7. 6. Rank the following topics
in order of interests to you.
Rank them in order with 1
being best
The high score means the option was more
popular. As music has the highest it was the
most popular as expected for a music
magazine. The next being sports so ill aim to
include a sports section in the contents page
to illustrate the popularity of the interest. I
will also aim to include sections on TV,
Movies, and Politics.
8. 7. What would attract
you most to the
magazine?
The most chosen option of freebies was
exclusively chosen by 13-17 year olds so I’ll
disregard this data when creating my
magazine. Ill aim to use attractive images
when choosing my model. Informative
articles was heavily chosen by the male
respondents so I’ll aim to create such in my
magazine. I will also aim to include the other
options in a subtle way as they were also
chosen more so by a older audience.

favourite colours?
Please name three
From the data collected the 4 most popular
colours were Blue, Black, Green, and Red.
This data is very useful but further analysis
into my target audience age group showed a
heavy favour towards Black, White, and Red
so ill aim to use these colours when
designing my product. These three colours
also show up a lot in similar magazines so
this justifies my research and choice of
colours.
