The student learned several new technology skills while constructing their media product. They developed skills in color coordination and using tools in Photoshop like the pen tool and color picker. Photography skills also improved as photos were taken from different angles to make the magazine look professional. A variety of skills were practiced in Photoshop as well, such as image manipulation and text editing.

1. What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
The researching of when I was creating my magazine taught me a lot about the media
industry itself and how the publishing houses were used, I figured that the internet was
widely used to advertise magazines themselves as its vastly used by the majority of the
population. It made me realise the skills magazine production requires for it to be very
successful.
I have learned new skills when it comes to technology while I was constructing my media
product. I developed skills such as colour coordination making sure my colour scheme stays
the same but in order to get the colour I wanted I used the pen tool in Photoshop and I click
on the colour I want to use and then apply it to my text ect. I experimented with various
amounts of colours to make sure I was using the right one.
I have improved on my photography skills in order of how to take a professional standard
photo for my magazine as I wanted it to look professional, I took photos on different angles
so I could show the examiner I have taken great time and thought into my product.
The Photoshop I used to create my final product had a variety of different skills such as
image manipulation, how to edit text etc. all of these skills which I have developed.
