The student has learned to use various technologies like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Photoshop through creating a product for their coursework. They have gained experience using features in Word like inserting tables and shapes, and seeing multiple pages. In PowerPoint, they learned to add slides, WordArt, and transitions. For Photoshop, the student enjoyed learning more advanced editing skills for photos like cross processing images for a music magazine.

4. I have used Microsoft word throughout my coursework: to write my essays at the
beginning of the year; to write my skills audit; to write about blogger. However, since
beginning the process of making my product, I have found more uses for it.
Before I used a Mac, I had been using the old Microsoft Word and I had no idea
how to use the updated version. But as I progressed through, I learnt how to use it. I
learnt how to insert tables; how to insert shapes; and it also allowed me to see more
than one page at a time.

6. When it comes using PowerPoint, I was in the same position I was in when using Word. I
had only used the old version and found it difficult to work my way around it. However I
soon learnt how to add new slides; how to add WordArt; and even how to add
transitions.

10. I have used Photoshop previously, before I joined college. However I had used it for art,
not media. In school, I had only learnt basic things on there so I enjoyed learning even
more when editing the photos for my music magazine. I have learnt how to cross process
