Jake Barker learned about various technologies during the process of constructing a movie product. During pre-production, Barker used Google to research the sci-fi genre, created a blog using Blogger to post research, and used Celtx to automatically format the script. Barker also analyzed movie title sequences on the Art of the Title website. For production, Barker's group used Panasonic cameras to film various shots. They uploaded videos to Premium Pro to add special effects. After production, Barker used SlideShare to upload resources and present information collected in a neat, interesting format.

2. PRE-PRODUCTION
 In the pre-production stage of our movie, I used a variety of software to help
figure out what my group’s movie is going to be, and how to set it up. I used
Google to research the history of the sci-fi genre and movies that are similar
to the synopsis of are movie. My group then created a webpage on the
website Blogger in order to post are research on it and what are movie is
going to be like. The script for the movie was created on Celtx as that
automatically puts the types words in a script style format, and creates if fast
and efficiently.

3. PRE-PRODUCTION (cont)
 I continued my research with analysing a title sequence of a movie that was
similar to ours. I gone on the website “Art of the Title”, which proved to be a
very useful website in order to find a suitable trailer to analyse, as they do all
kinds of movie genres and help to break each trailer down in specific detail
on why they have done it like that.

4. PRODUCTION
 For filming, my group mostly used a Panasonic HD Camcorder, and Panasonic
Lumic DMC FZ82 due to filming schedules, in order to film are movie on, and
allowed my group to film various camera shots and angles on, including close
ups and panning shots, helping to make the film look more advanced and will
create a sense of continuity. We then uploaded the videos on Premium Pro
and used that application to help create the movie and help add special
effects to it in order to emphasise the genre.

5. POST-PRODUCTION
 After the creation of the film, I used internet sources such as Slide Share to
upload any information and resources me or my group have collected or
created over this course, as that will help make the presentation of the facts
look neater, and is more interesting to look at. It will also help to categorise
each facts so people will instantly know which slide to look on. It also saves
trouble of print screening a word document as this can just be instantly
copied from the internet so it wouldn’t take long to upload it on the website.
