the construction and research, planning and

2.  This year I used a lot of different technologies on my blog
 E.G: Camera, Tripod, Sound Systems, Scribd, Slide
share, Wordle, Paint.NET, Prezi, Word press upload, Serif
Movie PLUS.
 I decided using these would make the blog seem more user
friendly and more presentable
 I chose to do straight PDF uploads a lot of the time as there
has been a lot of issues with plug-ins to show scribd items

3.  This year I tended to use the format PDF more than ever as it
gives a more professional look when compared to plain Word
Documents.
 It is a lot easier to read and understand with lots of tools to
navigate and zoom

4.  Wordle was a new technology for me as I have had never
come across it before
 It takes the words you add in and changes their font size/
style and arranges it showing the most used words in an
entertaining way
 I used it multiple times to highlight the use of wording in
songs

5.  Slideshare for PowerPoint presentations
 I really enjoyed using slideshare, for instance I am using right
now to present this on my blog.
 It gives you ability to upload PPT. files and allows a more
professional presentable outlook on the blog
 When you compare it to a PDF. File, it is better as it shows the
presentation instantly rather than to be loaded separately.

6.  OTHERS include
 Publisher to annotate any chosen work
 Uploading Videos/Pictures/Music directly to the blog

7.  HD video camera – This was used to film the production
 I used it because it was completely necessary, I chose HD over
standard as I had access to post production software that
could handle it
 During the filming I realized the camera was adjusting the
colours wrong, so I had to use white balance and a white
piece of blank paper to fix it

8.  Tripod
 Unlike last year, I used a tripod, I only ever used it for some
long shots
 All the shots of the band in costume with Hayley sat down was
filmed with a tripod
 I understand that whilst filming you need one image that you
can go back and forth from, which really made the editing a
lot easier

9.  Sound system
 Where we were filming had a huge sound system for parties
and such
 The hall was surrounded in speakers, so I brought in a male to
male universal cable and plugged in my phone to play the
music over the speakers
 This allowed the whole band to hear there part of the song
clearly as they were trying to match it rather than play it

10.  Like last year I used Serif Movie Plus x6, this year is had been
upgraded so I had more choices
 I used to it to add after effects which allowed a sharpen of
quality and boost In contrast
 I found that with all the after effects, the film took one hour
to render and export successfully
