2. The audience for my magazine would be teenage boys aged between 14-
19. They will like fresh, popular new indie artists and bands such as
Bastille and The Artic Monkeys, and also older iconic indie artists and
bands such AC/DC The reason that I have chosen this audience is
because survey's show that indie music is targeted towards male
teenagers, therefore the perfect audience for my magazine would be
towards the people that listen to it the most.
To do this I used a masculine colour scheme of black, yellow and white
to attract males. I also included more male artists on my contents page
for example:
• The Artic Monkeys
• Two Door Cinema
• AC/DC
• You me at Six
• Blink 182

I only used photos of male artists as most boys only listen to music
produced by other males therefore this attracts my target audience
