(18-44) as its
content is seen to be
more appealing to
this specific
demographic. This
specific genre’s
style of dark themes
and violence also is
targeted more to the
male gender thus
these types of films
use these themes
and conventions to
make it more
appealing.

This is the statistics on the audience of the
apocalypse genre according to IMDB, there is no
substantial differences between these different
categories but there is subtle differences such as
males seem to be higher than females and the
My film audience is aimed at any sex between the age 16-30 although I don’t feel like
I made it a priority in order to attract this audience but I did create a horror theme to
attract these ages as it seemed the younger generation like the feeling of being scared.
I think that if I was to do it again that I would add darker and more scarier scenes for it
to feel creepy, as most of the shots were done in more public places where as I would
have preferred it to be in the woods or more secluded areas a lot more so it was a lot
scarier.
The statistics of the audience on this film is that the gender
seems to be male aged between 40-54 which is older than what
my target audience is.
The age of the audience to this film is younger
as it incorporates horror aspects which is
statistically for the younger generation
