3. Why I choose this target
audience?
I choose this age group as my target audience as it is these
individuals that have the most free time on there hands, so
they are going to be reading magazines and things like this
to fill up their time. They don’t have commitment to work
or busy lives with kids as they are kids. They are the
largest audience for music magazines because of this.
It is also a point in their lives where they are very aware of
trends and what others peers their age will be doing. They
don’t what to seem like an outcast so they will read this to
have things to talk about with their friends
4. It is at this point where kids will want to seem grown up
and like adults watch the news this is their way of being
informed about what's going on in the world and fuels the
gossip, event though half the time this news may not be
true. However, it is this deception that brings excitement
and something to talk about into the lives of the audience.
Also at this point in their lives they want to find their own
identity and they may do this through magazine by looking
at famous celebrities and influential people and their style
and actions and their overall persona.
Finally, at this age they will have a lot of disposable money
from pocket money things like that, that they have nothing
to spend on as they have no bills to pay etc.. So they can
afford to buy the magazine.
