The document discusses how the media product follows conventions of real music videos, magazines, and digipaks, while also attempting to challenge some conventions.
For the music video, it uses conventions like editing and imagery to tell a narrative, and represents stereotypes commonly seen in music videos.
The magazine ad follows layout conventions but challenges where titles and credits are placed. It also includes production details and a website, conforming to conventions.
The digipak follows conventions for layout, barcode, and track listing, but challenges conventions by using two colors instead of one throughout. It also includes a handwritten note, something not commonly seen. Overall, the document examines how the product draws from real conventions while also attempting

Wireless communication involves the transmission of information over a distance without the help of wires, cables or any other forms of electrical conductors.
Wireless communication is a broad term that incorporates all procedures and forms of connecting and communicating between two or more devices using a wireless signal through wireless communication technologies and devices.
Features of Wireless Communication
The evolution of wireless technology has brought many advancements with its effective features.
The transmitted distance can be anywhere between a few meters (for example, a television's remote control) and thousands of kilometers (for example, radio communication).
Wireless communication can be used for cellular telephony, wireless access to the internet, wireless home networking, and so on.

In what ways does
your media product
use, develop or
challenge forms and
conventions of real
media products?
2. +My music video follows the conventions of any pop
genre music video. By the use of image and editing I
created a paced video that shows the narrative of a girl
not enjoying a party. It follows the representation of a
stereotypical teenage girl, following the scenes of a
party, this is emphasized by the lyrics, the girl meets the
people that are brought up in the lyrics, it follows the
codes and conventions as what Barthes said as using
stereotypes as symbols, in every party you have the
stereotypical people that are throwing up and causing
trouble, I used this in my music video to recreate them
scenes.
Representation was really important in my music video,
to create the ideal approach for my audience, I wanted
to show things at a party but also to keep it okay for
different ages. My promotional package uses the colours
pink and blue, I used these colours to follow the
stereotypical genre of pop, the promotional package
intended for my target audience is for teenage girls from
13 onwards, I created something that stands out but also
fits In with the genre, it follows the codes and
conventions of the pop genre. My target audience are in
the years of using the internet a lot, so I decided to put a
web address as in this day and age a lot more teens
use the internet, I think it’s a good way to expand your
audience.

For my magazine advert I analyzed two magazine adverts to get a idea of layout and design.
They both follow the conventional layout and theme. I developed my magazine layout slightly
by challenging where titles and credits are placed. I decide to separate the name so that it
could be more bold, I think it makes it seem more interesting and eye catching I also makes it
and less stereotypical as a lot of the magazine adverts I’ve seen have the name together so I
decided to challenge the conventions of how the placing is , the image behind the titles is
constructed by what comes together of getting ready for a party, this idea was based of photos
by Jordan Bolton.
Magazine Advert
4. +
The text of my magazine advert is bold so
that it stands out and is easy to read, this is a
convention of all magazine adverts as you
want it to be easy to read and see. I chose
the colour white so that it’s bolder in top of the
pink and stands out, I also chose it as the
colour is white so it represents purity and in
the music video Alessia is a pure character
that doesn’t involve herself in all the drama
around her. I think the colour white suits her
persona as an artist and represents her well.
Down the bottom of the magazine advert I
created a production company called ‘PC
Pro’, the logo represents the company, I
made the colours of the logo fit into the advert
so that everything went together properly, the
point of the production company is to make it
legit. This is a convention of ant product as
everything is produced by someone. It also
makes it so that it cant get copyrighted. Next
to the production company is a web address
where you can find out more about the artist. I
found that during research this was a key
component, and conforms to the conventions
of a media product.

Digipak
For my digipak I also analysed two different packs. From this I looked at design
and colour, how I should place things and set up my digipak.
This is the front and back, then the
inside slide of my digipak.
Starting with the front cover, it
follows the conventions of any
digipak with a cover image and the
artists name, I decided not to name
my album as it doesn’t need one, I
think that the name speaks enough
for itself I also didn’t
want to have to cram something on there, when I wanted the name of the artist to be bold and
stand out. I followed the codes and conventions of the digipak layout, and the colours. I kept
the blue spread across. The blue from the music video is what inspired me to make the
outside of the digipak blue, I think the close up images link closely with the music video, it
conforms with the electric feeling.
6. +
The back slot of the digipak follows the
conventions of a digipak as it has a barcode,
which is crucial as if it was in a shop you
would need it to be able to sell, this is followed
with a copyright note next to it which explains
that all rights are reserved. In research I found
that every piece has a copyright notice, this is
so that no one can steal your idea/work. Also
on this page is a track list which is a
convention of a digipak, it tells the audience
which songs will be on the CD. Just like any
other media product I included the songs that
will be in it, I kept it up the top of the piece so
that the image was clear underneath. On this
slide is also the production company logo
again just so that its reinstated and is clear
who the producer it, this is also a way that my
media product follows the conventions of a
media product.
With the inside slide I decided to do something
different that I haven’t seen in a lot of digipaks
to try and challenge the conventions of a
digipak, I wrote an inside note from the artist
saying thankyou for purchasing and about her
work.
7. +
The inside of my digipak
consists of three slides, the two
outer are the images inspired
by Jordan Bolton of the things
you need to get ready for a
party and the classical things
you would find there.
I tried to challenge conventions
of a typical digipak by including
two different colours, the
outside being blue and the
inside being pink. By doing this
I have made my digipak a but
different as usually there would
be one colour or image
throughout the whole thing.
Following the conventions I
placed the CD in the centre
which is where it is
conventionally placed. Placing
it here means that its centrally
direct and is easy to get out
which makes it conventional for
the buyer.
