2. How I conducted
my audience
feedback
I have conducted my research by asking a range
of people the same questions with yes/no answers
and asked them to give me some short written
feedback. This is a simple and effective way to
get the information I need to analyse the
evaluation. It is clear as it can be shown in a
graph/chart and also like the chart with
explanations and advice of how I can improve.

What you expect from an indie music Good-
video? -Excellent use of guitar at the start and end Good
Performance and Good camerawork
-Lots of editing- shows skill
-Good effects used

Yes -Good lip-syncing
No -Good lip syncing, last shot is really good
Bad-
-Not sure of narrative and lyrics
-A bit dark in areas. Shots are too blurry. Some performance
is lacking.
Does lip-syncing look natural? -At some points I think the shots are too long. I think there is
too much walking.
-When the two are singing the shots are vary dark.
-Some shots out of focus
Could have used more editing techniques.
Black and white seems random, not definite story.

6. Review of feedback
Does the music video link
with the ancilary texts Overall the feedback as been good but there are
areas where there were suggestions where I could
improve the video and ancillary texts.
For the video a comment that came up a lot was that
they did not understand the narrative, I can
understand that as it is hard to think why the main

that linked stronger to the lyrics. Such as the lyrics
indicated that the person was upset with his life and
was reflecting what he is doing.

people thought that it looked professional and slightly

been easy and would have not taken too long.
