My magazine targets teenagers and young people ages 16-24 from lower socioeconomic groups (C2/D). Newspapers often portray teenagers negatively, but my magazine shows them as a passionate group with wide-ranging interests. While newspapers depict teenagers as miscreants or truants, young adults are portrayed more positively as role models pursuing education and careers. My magazine appeals to its target demographic by featuring a model of the same age dressed in typical clothes for the audience and styled to appear fashionable and confident.
