 The question have asked you this time
to find BR (which is the tallest side). So
what is it called ? How can we solve the
question?
 Hypotenuse is the tallest side in a right
angled triangle.
 Pythagoras' Theorem states that in a
right angled triangle, the square of the
hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the
squares of the other two sides,
i.e a²=b²+c² (where a is the
hypotenuse).
BR²=PR²+BP²
BR2 = 42 + 72
BR2 = 16 + 49
[Find the square root of both sides]
BR2 = 65 √65
BR = 8.1cm (1d.p.)
