This document discusses personal learning environments (PLEs) and how they allow for collective knowledge construction through connecting, communicating, and collaborating with other learners. A key idea discussed is that people can learn collectively by sharing experiences and knowledge with each other through social connections. The document presents the concept that one's knowledge is stored in their social network of friends and connections.
