Wild horses, also known as mustangs, can be found naturally inhabiting parts of the United States, Canada, and Australia. In North America, they descended from domestic horses brought over by Europeans and have adapted to live in the wild. Several specific herds are discussed, including the Pryor Mountain herd in Montana known for its Colonial Spanish ancestry, the Sulphur herd in Utah that has adapted to a harsh mountain environment, and the Kiger herd in Oregon possessing characteristics of original Spanish mustangs. Herds also exist in Canada, such as those in Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and Alberta, with evidence of Spanish lineage. All herds face threats from lack of habitat, water, and predators but continue to survive
This essay discusses the evolution of horses from small forest-dwelling animals to domesticated creatures used for transportation and farming. It notes that early horses lived in North America but went extinct there, with surviving horses evolving in Central America. When humans arrived in Central America around 4000 BC, they began hunting horses for food and skins. Eventually, Central Americans started domesticating horses to pull farm equipment and for transportation, though the first horses were too small. Through selective breeding, people produced larger horses better suited to pulling wagons. The domestication of horses then spread from Central America, with horses going on to be used in wars to transport troops and supplies more quickly. The essay also briefly mentions some modern horse equipment like saddles, brushes
Horses are odd-toed ungulate mammals that have evolved over 45-55 million years. There are over 300 breeds of horse used for transportation, agriculture, sports and more. Horses are categorized by height as either horses over 14.2 hands or ponies under 14.2 hands. Key terminology includes mare, stallion, gelding, foal, and colt/filly for ages. Donkeys differ from horses in having longer ears, straighter necks, coarse hair and smaller hooves.

Ruminants are herbivorous mammals, such as cattle and buffalo, that have a specialized four-chambered stomach that allows them to digest plant matter. In ruminants, food is initially swallowed and passes to the rumen, where it is regurgitated as cud and chewed again to further break it down. This foregut fermentation process utilizes microbes to help digest cellulose from plants. Ruminants have spread worldwide with humans and provide important sources of meat, dairy, and labor.
This document provides information on various breeds of swine, including their origins and characteristics. It begins with discussing Philippine native pigs and their general traits of being small and late maturing. It then describes several purebreds such as Landrace, Yorkshire, Duroc, and Hampshire and their distinguishing features. The document also mentions upgraded breeds developed by crossing native pigs with foreign breeds. It provides details on the origins, appearances and traits of over 15 different pig breeds.
Modern domestic cattle evolved from a single ancestor called the aurochs. Cattle were first domesticated in Europe and Asia during the Stone Age and served three purposes - meat, milk, and labor. Over time, cattle breeds specialized in either meat or dairy production. Some of the earliest recognized cattle breeds included Shorthorns and Devons. Texas Longhorns and other breeds were important in early American history. The behavior of cattle makes them well-suited to management by humans.
Horses have had an ancient relationship with humans, being domesticated over 4,000 years ago. There is one species of domestic horse but around 400 breeds that specialize in tasks like pulling wagons or racing. Mustangs are descendants of horses brought to North America by Spanish explorers in the 16th century that later bred with other horse types.
Monkeys are commonly seen in jungles and zoos around the world, with over 264 known species. Groups of monkeys are called troops or missions. Spider monkeys get their name from their long limbs and tail.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.
LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UP
Guide to: Purchasing Horses
1.
2. For this category I chose the Percheron breed.
The percheron is a very heavy, working class
horse. They are tall, muscular and made to
haul heavy loads. They generally range from
1000 to over 2000 pounds. Percherons can be
many colours such as brown, black, chestnut,
black and grey, but it more likely to see grey.
This breed originated from the Huisne River
Valley located in France.
The breed gots in name from part of the
former Perch Province. Unfortunately, the
origins of the Percheron breed are unknown.
Some people have thought that an Arabian
stallion was bred with some local mares which
led to the Percheron breed, but nothing has
been proved.
The Percherons disciplines are focused on
work. They are hard working, strong, rugged
workers. They have a proud, alert and
enthusiastic personality. These horses were
made to work long and hard. In my opinion,
this breed would be a great working horse.
3. For this category I chose to research
about the Morgan breed.
The Morgan is said to be one of the first
breeds of horse originated from the United
States of America.
They were named after Justin Morgan
who is said to be the first breeder of this
breed. He had this horse given to him as a
payment of debt.
This breed is a refined featured breed.
They had good muscling, small features,
clean cut face and a nice rounded neck.
This breed is very versatile in its disciplines.
It is used for both English and Western
riding. And is best used for cutting,
endurance riding, show jumping,
dressage, pleasure, and driving.
They have gentle and steady
temperament which makes them easy to
be around crowds, as well as easy
handling.
4. For this category I am using the
Hanoverian breed.
This breed originated from Germany.
In Germany, they were used for the
Olympic sports and English riding
competitions.
The Hanoverian breeds
characteristics are strong and
robust, but elegant and swift. They
are known for their altheticism,
beuaty and graceful gait. They are
easy to train and have strong sturdy
backs. They are usually black,
brown, chesnut, bay, grey and
brown in colour.
Their preffered disciplines are
dressage, show hunter, eventing
and show jumping.
5.
6. For this category I am using the Appaloosa Breed.
Appaloosas are well known for their spots; big, small and
different colours. A common trait in appaloosas are striped
hooves and a distinctive sclera.
The Appaloosas originated from the United States among the
Nez Perce People. After the Nez Perce war, the horses were
captured and mostly killed off by the U.S. 7th Cavalry. After
that the Appaloosa breed was almost extinct. Luckily, a few
loyal breeders continued to breed these horses as farming
horses until people started realizing the beauty of the horse.
The horses original name was actually Palouse Horse (as
originally named after the Palouse River) but was slanged into
Apalouse and then into Appaloosa.
Appaloosas are narrow bodied, rangy horses. They are often
flighty when spooked and are fast runners.
The Appaloosas preferred disciplines are English riding, Western
riding, cutting, reining, roping, barrels, poll bending, eventing,
jumping, fox hunting and middle distant races. This breed is
very versatile and stunningly beautiful breed which can be a
multitude of different colours, spot patterns, and features.
