Bibliometric analysis and survey on electronic nose used in agricultureIJECEIAES
Work carried out at the beginning of this century on improvements in semiconductor materials, transducers, sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms led to the rapid expansion of research topics related to the electronic nose, with diverse applications. Agriculture is a recent application field that needs a review of the usage of electronic noses in this field and the future challenges. The paper provided a bibliometric analysis and review of electronic noses used in agriculture. A search of published works on the e-nose and its applications in agriculture was carried out in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, which provide comprehensive citation data for academic disciplines worldwide. In the end, 2,953 documents were identified, and the data collected was analyzed mainly using the bibliometric toolbox, and then a deep study was carried out. The study results show that in the agricultural field, some works were achieved on different varieties of plants to detect disease or plant damage with very good results using electronic noses. However, less research was carried out to directly identify animals in crops like pests or environmental monitoring using electronic noses in agriculture. Some recommendations for future research efforts are finally provided.

Seeds are the foundation of forage production. Technology facilitates in day-to-day operations for the system, but without a regular supply of quality seed in sufficient quantity, yields and crop quality can not be sustainably achieved. There is a large gap between demand and availability of forage crop seeds. With this in view, this presentation is made to augment forage – seed - preneurship at rural base. The approach is to equip seedpreneurs with desirable knowledge about product, financial and marketing aspects; higher technical skill and managerial expertise.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Introduction
ICAR- National Dairy Research Institute was founded in Bangalore in 1923 as a center for dairy
education. In 1936 it was renamed as Imperial Dairy Institute and it was shifted to its present site
in Karnal in 1955 and renamed again as National Dairy Research Institute. In 1970, NDRI was
brought under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The Institute has the
distinction of being a Deemed University for implementing its academic programmes since
1989.
NDRI operates through 13 research divisions / sections viz. Animal Genetics and Breeding,
Animal Biotechnology, Animal Physiology, Animal Nutrition, Animal Bio-chemistry, Livestock
Production and Management, Forage Research, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Dairy
Technology, Dairy Engineering, Dairy Economics, Statistics and Management and Dairy
Extension. This Institute has the unique distinction of having been ranked first, among all
Agricultural Universities of India including 4 Deemed Universities, consecutively for five
times in the years 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21.
2. The Institute has also a National Library in Dairying, which possesses an impressive collection
of literature on dairying and allied subjects. NDRI library is a member of CeRA from the very
beginning. In present scenario, the face of libraries mostly has been changed with the advent of
information technology. The storage and dissemination process of reading materials in libraries
have been transformed from traditional to digital or in other words manual to automation. To
gain the full benefits of digital technologies in libraries functioning, different advanced steps
have been taken at ICAR - NDRI. Among these, resource sharing is one of the most important
step. Library consortium is an association of libraries established by formal agreement based on
the concept for resource sharing among its members. CeRA is consortium for sharing of
scholarly publications among the agricultural scientific community to ameliorate the quality of
research in the areas of agriculture and allied sciences subjects. Presently, there are 152
consortium members including ICAR Institutes, Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs) and
the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs).
