The army has taught me so many great things. It taught me how to be a disciplined soldier and a
good person. I was inexperienced of life before I joined the army. Therefore, I was overwhelmed
of life lessons when I came to basic training. However, I learned the seven army values which were
loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrityand personal courage; I experienced every
value throughout my training process. They help me to discipline myself to be a good soldier and a
good person. The value that I honored most was integrity. I was taught that integrity was doing
what s right, legally and morally. However, throughout my training experience, I understand
integrity as fearless, to tell the truth, responsible for your own action, and hardworking.
Integrity means the courage, to tell the truth. In the beginning of my training process, I was told
to study the seven army values by heart. I didn t understand why my drill sergeants made such a
big deal about those values. The seven words were easy to remember, and we all knew the
meaning of them. However, I changed my mind when I witness Lopez s situation. Lopez ate a
Twister bar and left its wrap in the trash can. My drill sergeants found out about it and questioned
the whole platoon. Lopez was fear of the punishment, so he didn t admit his wrong action. Lopez
was considered having no integrity by the whole platoon. However, Lopez wasn t the only one

Introduction
As an occupational therapist, I hope to use a number of different psychological theories. The main
perspective I will use is Behavior Psychology. Most of my therapy techniques will come from
Skinner s theory of operant condition. By using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), I can help
modify children s behavior. The second perspective I will use is Neuropsychology. In treating
autistic children, and other people with various disorders, it is important to understand the different
brain chemistry that each has. In most circumstances, a part of the brain is affected that inhibits an
aspect of the child s behavior.
History
Both behavioral psychology and neuropsychology have rich backgrounds. For the purposes of my
philosophy of psychology, I will cover operant condition and Skinner s approach to verbal
behavior. I will also look aspects of neuropsychology such as neuroplasticity and the dimensional
systems model. I will also look at Sensory Integration theory, which combines a number of different
perspectives including behavioral and neuropsychology.

For my battle analysis assignment, I have chosen to examine the battle of Shiloh. This battle
began April 6 7 1862, in the Pittsburg Landing area of Tennessee. In Hebrew Shiloh, means
peace nonetheless, this battlefield was far from a place of peace from April 6 7 1862. This battle
was the bloodiest civil war battle to date and occurred between the Union and Confederate armies.
Having analyzed the battle from multiple sources, I have discovered a number of operational,

Rowlandson starts off in the beginning of her narrative already a Puritan follower. Her plight
through captivity, she says, only strengthened her faith. Many say her narrative to be a religious

Immersion Academy. She is a unique second grade teacher for Spanish and English speaking
students. In my prior fieldwork assignments, I have not met another teacher who has been so ahead

Barbour runs a dual immersion program for Latino children from kindergarten through eighth
