2. Prop One
• The first prop I will use is the instruments.
This includes, a drum kit, two guitars, a bass
and a microphone.
• These will be used in order to show what the
band is using in order to perform the song.
The props will be used by the actors who
are playing the characters in the band.
• This prop will be used throughout the video
due to the performance shots being spread
out.
• The prop sets the scene as it shows the
band are performing. The instruments will
be plain colours (the drum kit will be black,
the guitars will be red and white, and the
bass will be white) as the instruments are
plain colours but are also mostly bright, they
will fit into the theme of the music video
and will make it relatable for other
musicians. The musicians will not be in your
face, and neither will the colours of the
instruments ensuring the attention is kept
on the song and the main characters. The
colours are based around red, white and
black. This is because the colours black and
white are plain and bland, but the use of red
makes the connotation of love and danger,
suggesting love is dangerous.

3. Prop Two
• This prop is the alcohol bottles. This
prop will be used for a few shots in the
middle of my video to show the main
character is getting drunk.
• This prop will be used by the main
character as he will be shown drinking.
• This prop is used to show the main
character is turning to drugs and
alcohol in order to cope with his
feelings, due to the amount he has
drank.
• This product has been used due to it
being relatable to the audience as it is
a product which young people drink a
lot, therefore it is a suitable prop. It is
also considered trendy.

4. Prop Three
• This prop is an Iphone. This prop will
be used to show the main character
was texting his ex-girlfriend whilst he
was drinking.
• This prop is not used throughout, it is
only used for a couple of shots. The
prop is used to show the text
messages which have been sent.
• This prop will be used as Iphones are
extremely popular. The choice of
phone is relatable for the audience as
a lot of the audience have them,
creating a clear link to the audience.
The colour will be ‘space grey’ as it is
considered the most popular, also the
phone will have a transparent case on
to show that it is easily broken by
teenagers.

5. Prop Four
• This prop is paracetamol. This prop is
used in several shots throughout the
video to show the male main character
is taking ‘drugs’. The main character
will take these, in order to express his
way of coping.
• The prop will be used by the main
character as on 2/3 occasions he will
take one, however it signifies other
drugs.
• This prop is important as it shows the
main character is taking drugs and
alcohol in order to cope with his
feelings.
