1. The reason I choose to do a rock magazine was because I thought it would be different and it seemed like a interesting type of magazine to
create because it is a rock type of magazine but it also looks like a hip hop magazine but just the way that it is laid out is different, images and
fonts. By creating a rock type of magazine seems challenging but it seems like a fun type of magazine to create and I believe that my
audience will like my type of magazine. I like the way that “Q” has laid out there magazine because it is all clear even though some of them
have many pictures but it looks good and that would be the type of magazine that I would go for.
My target audience is for the ages between of 27 to 37 because this type of age they tend to like these types of magazine's and it has more
a chance of grabbing there view towards the audience. It will be for both type of genders because both type of genders like rock magazine.
The type of magazine that I will be doing is rock because I liked the style of the of the Q magazine because it is different and the types of
colours are dark but at the same time they use some bright colours which makes the rock type of magazines look different and grabs my
attention towards it has been presented. My type of audience tend to go to festivals, go to festival and read and listen to rock type of music.
My primary audience is for the ages between the ages of 27 to 37 because I feel like that is the type of audience which would see my
magazine but my secondary type of magazine is for the ages for 16 to 40 as they would only read these types of magazines if they were at
someone's house or they were at the doctors.
The images that I will using will be both genders but I think for the front page I will use a picture of a girl and then inside include a range of
pictures of girls and boys because I think that using both genders makes the page stand out and makes the page look different and has a
different affect towards the audience. Also I will be using a range of long shots, mid shots and close ups because I believe that using a range
of angles means that you will have more a choice of choosing what you like and including a range of sizes makes the page look different
and grabs the protagonist view towards the magazine. Also I will have my models having many different facial expressions.
I will make my magazine a type of magazine that they will like to read when they can and it will be relaxing because for example if someone
is going on the train home or out it is the best type of thing to read whilst being on the train because you would not be giving anyone any eye
contact and it will fill up your time whilst being on a journey to some where. I will include numbers and the magazine and the website at the
bottom of the page so that people will know on what pages to get on to and if they want top get on to the website to find out more
information. I will use 3 types of colours so that it is stuck to a theme and so that the pages doesn’t have to many colours on the page and
make it look over crowned. Also by including social media for the audience to access makes people want to know what is happening and
most people like to follow magazine and people that are involved in the magazine so that they know when there new magazines come out
or find out information about the people involved in creating the magazine. Also I will include pull quotes so that the protagonist could tell the
people how they are feeling I will be including this on my double page spread, also when I talk about the protagonist in the magazine I will
include a capital letter and make it bigger than the rest of the magazine so that it gives a different affect towards the magazine. On the
content page I will have my writing in columns and have different section for different sub-titles. On the front cover page I will include; date,
title, page number and have pictures and have a nice layout so it grabs my protagonist attention and by including these things means that
they will know when it has come out and gives the protagonist a different affect towards the rest of the magazines that are about “Q”.
At the bottom of the page you can see the type of magazine that I like and the way that they have been laid out. Furthermore there type of
