Proposal
BY Alex Mason and Dan Thomas
Concept of Idea
• Our documentary is going to be based on Bromley FC
as its a club that has been around a long time in this
borough and has achieved so much within the last
decade. My group has decided we are going to do a
documentary about the football club. we plan on
talking to the chairman, manager, and some of the
players to get an insight of the club to see what its like
the environment and what the owners have planned
for the seeable future.
• The location of our documentary will be shot at
Bromley FC on Hayes Lane
Why Bromley FC?
• We decided to do our documentary on
Bromley FC as its something new and
something random that not many people
might of thought of doing.
• Also as one of us work in Bromley FC we’ve
managed to get a few people to get those
higher up in the club to be filmed in this
documentary.
Key Content
• Our documentary will be around 5-10 minutes
long, for our short documentary.
• For our long documentary it will be around
20-30 minutes long as Bromley FC have asked
for a copy of the final piece.
• We plan on putting some light music in the
background to smoothen our transitions
through each shots.
Target audience
• Our target audience will be based on football
fans more so the younger ones as they more
likely come down to watch the Bromley
games.
• It will also be based on older fans of football
as well as they might want to find out more
about non-league clubs and how they’re
doing.
Justification
• We feel as directors and producers of this documentary it will be a
success as its completely different compared to other
documentary's. Its different to the likes of:
• David Attenborough
• Time team
• River Monsters
• Crocodile Hunter
• League football teams
• These documentary’s are good and fantastic to watch. But
considering our documentary is about a football team its different
because this is a non-league club that not many people would’ve
heard about unless they support other non-league clubs.
