- 3. SINGULAR SUBJECTIVEPERSONAL PRONOUN 1. He – It takes the place of the name of a masculine person or an animal. Example: Dave has a dollar. He has a dollar. 2. She – It takes the place of the name of a feminine person or an animal. Example: Sharon will take us to the park. She will take us to the park. 3. It – It takes the place of the name of a singular noun. Example: The book is on the table. It is on the table.
- 4. PLURAL SUBJECTIVEPERSONAL PRONOUNS 1. They – It takes the place of the plural noun. Example: Apples are good for you. They are good for you. 2. We – It takes the place of the nouns including the speaker. Example: Jane and I went to the store. We went to the store.

Very soon, all the students left with their parents. Lilian was alone. She became worried. Why was my Mommy so late? What if Mommy didn’t come?

Lilian’s mother was glad that Lilian was not hurt. She was sorry and promised Lilian she would be punctual next time.
