1. Title Page: It should indicate the project title, the name of the lead
organization, the place and date of project preparation and the
name of the donor agency to whom the proposal is addressed.
2. Project Title: It should be short, concise, and preferably refer to a
certain key result or the leading project activity.
3. Abstract: Should include the problem statement, the project’s
objectives, implementing organizations, key project activities, and
potentially the total project budget.
4. Context: Describes the social, economic, political and cultural
background from which the project is initiated.
5. Project Justification: A rationale includes the problem statement,
priority needs, the proposed approach, the implementing
organization, and project aims.
6. Target Group: Define and show how it will benefit from the
project.
7. Project Implementation: Plan should describe activities and
resource allocation in as much detail as possible.
8. Budget: An estimated summary of an organization’s expected
income and expenses over a specified period of time.
9. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting: The schedule of project
progress and financial report could be set in the project
proposal.
10. Management and Personnel: A brief description of the
individuals roles each one has assumed, and the
communication mechanisms that exist between them.
