The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

4. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
I’ve used photoshop a lot so I knew a bit about it
and
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
Sometimes it wont work as in it might crash, could
run slow and the internet might be on and you cant
continue with it as it needs the internet to run
5. Graphic Design Production
• They both have the logo
clear as day so you know
what brand is bring shown
• They both have Christmas
themes like Santa,
Christmas tree and the use
of green in both
• The differences are that in
my poster on the right is
that it has a lot more than
the actual coke on the left
as mine has a tree, Santa
and a fireplace but on the
real one it just has Santa
with a bottle of coke with a
green ribbon
6. Graphic Design Production
With my final poster I wanted to
include my love for football so I found a
coke collaboration with the France
national team when they won the
world cup in 2018, so I got photos of
the actual players, removed the
backgrounds of them then put them
over their cans which looks very
smooth and unique as I haven’t seen
anyone do this. I did add the same
transparency that the cans have to the
players but you wouldn’t be able to see
the players so I just left it, then I added
the pitch background so people know
its football and I also added the France
badge and flag so you know that its the
French team

8. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in Premiere Pro
– I’ve used premiere pro before and have done for a
while and i was able to get it done quite fast
• Disadvantages of working in Premiere Pro
– Files can be lost, corrupted and might not have
saved in the right place which then means you
might have to start over
9. Radio Production
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDj8QYig
Fnw
With this being our first project
of the course we were a bit new
to it and you can hear the
laughter of one of them and you
can tell that this wasn’t filmed in
a actual football match because
how its been put together and I
didn’t put anything at the end
like a special promotion like the
other one does
With this one it has music in the background
to give it the summer feeling to it which
brings in the listener and makes them want
to buy the product on a hot day to refresh
themselves
10. Radio Production
• Strengths
The script was finished in less than half a hour which
helped with my time management and the radio advert
was finished quite quickly because of this, another
strength was that I’ve worked on radio adverts before so I
knew what was needed and what wasn’t needed.
• Weaknesses
If you listen carefully you can hear tom laughing when he
talks which wouldn’t be good for a real advert and then at
some point the crowd noise goes away and then comes
back and if I had time to re do it I would
13. Advergame Production
Strengths –
the sounds went with the movements which
made it smooth
The drawings a clear and up to the standard
for pixel art like that
Weaknesses –
The frames are too slow and seem to take a
while for the frames to take place so if were
to do this next time I would make the
frames quicker
The clouds just stays still and doesn’t move
which looks a bit weird and seems a bit lazy
on my end
14. Advergame Production
There are many differences between these
two, one being that with the bottom one
you can tell what product is but with mine
you cant tell what the product is as I didn’t
have much space to add the logo and
adding the text.
Another one being that its way more
detailed than mine as its got water particles,
the clouds are quite realistic with the sky.
Last one being that it has a start up menu
which I didn’t have the time to do and that
you cant interact with mine, as its just a
MP4 file
15. Advergame Production
• Advantages of working in Photoshop
– Its easy to understand and simple to use
• Disadvantages of working in Photoshop
– When drawing you cant draw circles as well in
pixels
16.
17. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
the radio advert as when you hear the sound of
the coke opening it makes you want a coke
• Which of your products is the most
professional? Why?
The poster as it looks neat and tidy and
everything is in place
18. Reflective Triangle
Write down one key
thing you have learnt
from this project
Write down two
things you would do
differently if you were
to do this project
again and how you
would do that.
Write down three
things you still need
to develop your
understanding on or
skills within.
The
magic
wand
tool
spend more
time on the
background for
the advergame
If I had more
time for each
project it might
have been
better
