1) The production diary details editing techniques learned throughout the process such as overlapping shots and changing opacity levels. 2) Group members each had their own editing tasks but learned from observing one another, such as how to place text over a shot or put video inside text. 3) After reviewing a first draft, the group agreed more lip syncing shots were needed to meet their aim of using varied shot types in the music video.

2. Overlapping a shot
• I took screenshots during the process of me overlapping a shot
in order to explain how I did it step by step and to show
evidence.
• Changing the opacity levels to overlap two shots is just one of
the many editing techniques that I have learnt throughout this
production process.
• Everybody in my group had their own editing task to do
however we all learned from each other and took notice of
each others editing techniques.
• For example, by watching someone in my group edit, I would
now know how to put text over a shot and then reverse it so the
video is inside the text.

3. Adding more lip singing
• After reviewing our first draft we have all agreed that we
need to add more lip singing shots to our music video.
• A big aim of ours is to use a variety of shot types within
our video.
• We feel that we need to close ups and extreme close ups
so we will try to get these kind of shots on the day of
filming.
