2. Shooting schedule
– We created a shooting schedule which consisted of the dates and locations we are planningto film at.
– We have decided to film at the Beach on the14th Novemberand this is because welooked up theweather forecast
and this daylooks as if it is going to be sunny.It is important that the weather stays sunnywhile were at the beach as
we want to tryand represent the summer.
– We have decided to film in London on the 21st Novemberas wewant to try and get as muchfilming done as possible
ina short space of time.
– If we are able to get all of ourfilming done in Novemberit will be reallybeneficial as we can start editing as soon as
we’ve got the footage uploaded onto the computers.
– So fareverythingis runningsmoothly and it looks as if we will be able to manage filming on both of these days set.

3. The music industry
– The purpose oflooking into the music industry was toounderstand how they work and what their purpose is.
– I’ve learnt that a production company and an artist will worktogether to tryan achieve a successful outcome forthat artist,and the
production company.
– How an artist wantsto beportrayedis up to them however a production company will know what is best for the artist to become big
and successful, usually.
– Ilooked at Adele’s ‘Hello’ music video and it shows a clear example ofhow her talent is enough togain big amounts ofattention. The
music video is very simple but because ofher talent, the video is one ofthe most viewed music videos on YouTube.
– Ialsolooked at howAzealia Banks hadchanged once she hadbeen signed by a production company. Aproduction company can help
an artist portrayacertain imagethey want to portraywith money.

4. Mise-En-Scene
– Mise-en-sceneis everythingthat goesinto makingup a musicvideo such asthe costumes,lighting, artist, makeup, location
and props.Theseattributes helpto portray the genreof a musicvideo.
– Our artistsimage isreally important thereforewehave put a lot of thought into herappearancesuchas the costumes and
makeup. We wanther to be portrayedas trendy, young and cool but still classy.As thesong iscalled ‘We Don’t Have To Take
Our Clothes Off’wedon’t wanther to come acrossas provocative.
– We wentthrough eachof the attributes to makesurethat all of themise-en-sceneisplanned out properly in orderto help
portray the genreof our musicvideo.
– For example,using the inflatable duck willshow that our artist isfun and likesto play around and dance musicisall about
having fun.
