setelah beriman. Dan barangsiapa tidak bertobat, maka mereka
itulah orang-orang yang zalim”.

9. Ingredients:
• 1Papaya cut into ½ inch cubes
• 1 cucumber, peeled
• 1 mango, peeled cubed
• 1 pinapple, cut into ½ inch
cubes
• 3 tablespoon peanut, fry
• 1 hot chili pepper, seed,
sliced.
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon tamarind,
dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Steps :
1. First, mix all the fruits together
2. Second, grind chilies and salt
3. Third, add brown sugar
4. Next, add dry roasted peanuts
and grind completely
5. After that, pour some tamarind
liquid
6. Then, mix the sauce and the fruit
together
7. Finally, serve chilled

Features of procedure text are:
Using action verbs (kata kerja aktif)
Example : prepare, put, add, pour, stir, enjoy etc.
Contoh dalam kalimat :
prepare coffee, sugar, and warm water.
put coffee into glass then add sugar

15. Using imperative sentence (kalimat perintah)
Ciri kalimat perintah, kalimatnya diawali dengan
kata kerja aktif dan tidak ada subjek.
Contoh:
Put coffee into glass (masukkan kopi ke dalam
gelas).

16. Using linking words/conjunctional (kata hubung) to
do with time are used to connect the text. Example :
first, second, next, then, after that, while, when, the
last , finally etc.
Contoh penggunaan linking words dalam kalimat:
First, put coffee into a glass.
Second, add sugar as your taste
Next pour warm water then stir it.
